I've come to Shampoo Avenue B to get my hair cut for the past 3 years. I've had a few different stylists and they were all awesome! Made me feel very comfortable and talked in depth about what I wanted. The vibe is super laid back and fun. Highly recommended!
I've been going to Shampoo Avenue B for almost 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I get a haircut and color and it always comes out looking and feeling amazing!!! All of the stylists are great and you can't go wrong. I've referred several friends and they have all loved it too.
Went here a couple months ago. I was a little worried about cutting my hair short especially because I had a bad haircut the last time from some other place. Right away when I walked in I was offered a drink. Didn't wait too long...As soon I as got seated Raquel greeted me very sweet open to what I wanted, and how I wanted it to cut. During my cut she was open to my opinion on how I thought of it so far and if I had any suggestions. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back!
Shampoo Avenue B is great! I have naturally dirty blonde hair, and Erik gave me beautiful, natural looking highlights. He also cut my fine, straight hair into a lovely mid-length cut that had great movement and required minimal styling. Highly recommended!
Got an awesome cut and color from Erik- one of my best of all time. Also a great experience all around, they have late appointments during the week, serve you a drink and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend Shampoo Avenue B and especially Erik!
I got my haircut with Raquel recently and loved it! I had a hard time bouncing from salon to salon trying to find my hairdresser but finally did. I have fine hair that needs the perfect layers to get proper volume and she completely understood. I showed her a picture of the sideswept bangs I wanted and they turned out just like the picture as well. Bang trims are $15 but the salon runs promotions often if you sign up via email and the haircut is affordable compared to other salons I've tried so I don't mind!
I love Shampoo Avenue B! They are welcoming and I always leave thrilled with my color and cut. I've been coming for here for a few years and I won't go anywhere else.
I am a huge fan of Shampoo Avenue B. Jen is a master with color, and I see her regularly every 6 weeks for touch-ups. I love the vibe of this place compared to some of the more uppity uptown salons I've visited previously. Chill, low-key East Village feel that is at the same time always professional, prompt, and knowledgable. I always look forward to coming in! Also, the new location is airy and beautiful!
