Another great experience and awesome haircut. Angela is awesome and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Super friendly, fun to talk to, accommodating, and most importantly is her attention to detail. Very happy with my overall experience.
I've been going here for 4 years and have never been unhappy with my hair. However, stylists tend to leave often so its hard to build a relationship.
I've been getting my hair highlighted for the past 15 years of my life from various stylists and salons and I have to say that Carlos has done the best job yet. He did my highlights just before my wedding and he did a stellar job and I've been sold ever since. The new salon is is beautifully designed and decorated and is much more spacious then their previous location. I highly recommend Carols at Shampoo Ave B, he is the go-to for blonde highlights!!
Shampoo Avenue B is an awesome NYC salon. Their online booking tool is really handy and makes managing services/appointments easy. I've seen a few stylists for haircuts and every one of them has been fantastic. I also love that they take appointments until late evening, which makes it really convenient during weekdays. Highly recommend!
I recently had an appointment with Andrea and she was great! The color and cut met my expectations! It was the first time ever dying my hair and she was so nice about it. I will definately be going to get a follow up with her and continue with my color process. Thanks to Andrea and Ash for a great experience.
I was looking to go from red to blonde and my current hairstylist at that time did not know how to remove red (although not admittedly) so I had begun a search for a new hairstylist. I've been going to Shampoo B for the last 4 years. After my original stylist left the salon, the receptionist suggested Sylyse for a haircut. Sylyse is the ultimate professional stylist - he is extremely skilled and knowledgeable and it is clear he has had extensive training and experience. Do Not go to this Salon!!!!! It is terrible for highlights !!!!!!
Shampoo Avenue B has been my spot for haircuts (specifically Sylyse) and highlights for a few years now. Something about the way Sylyse cuts my hair that makes it grow quicker and healthier...I don't know, but whatever he's doing its working for me! Loved that there's a Jersey City location now too...hope to try them out soon.
