This is regarding Sears Parts Direct. I have attempted to purchase items from them on two occasions. They list parts on their website as being in stock and state that it will be shipped in 2 weeks. This is clearly not the truth as I have attempted to purchase a grill burner that they say they have in stock. In July I first attempted to purchase this part. A&E worst of the worst. A&E was contacted September 13, 2021 by ******************** *********** to repair my cooktop stove. Two weeks later they sent a person out and he lightly knocked on the door, which I didn't hear. The doorbell was side the door in full view. if he had rang the door i would have heard the ring upstairs and downstairs.2. If I could give zero stars I would. Sears Home Warranty is a scam. They make you calla specific number and you get someone at an outsourced call center who takes their time putting you on hold and are overall useless at putting a service warranty to a product. My stove has been broken for weeks. The part came in and they have cancelled every single week they have given us notice they were coming to repair. We purchased a Kenmore French door stainless steel refrigerator from Sears for our home. In the same month, I purchased a standard black Kenmore refrigerator for a company I manage from American Freight. The French door refrigerator broke down before we had the Kenmore a year. I've been trying to schedule an appointment with Sears to to do a preventive maintenance inspection on my central heating system for over a month now. I have made numerous phone calls, told "there is no technician in your area" and when I question this, the agents tell me they will "escalate" my problem and someone will contact me in 24 to 48 hours. No calls! I've even talked with people that aren't in the **** and honestly, there have been communication problems to the point they hung up on me(great customer service, NOT) .... read more

I cannot even believe a company operates this way. How in the world are they still in business? We have a large refrigerator that needs service. The first time I called they said it would require two service techs due to its size. THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT SIX TIMES THE *** OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE BECAUSE THEY KEEP FORGETTING TO SCHEDULE TWO TECHS. My refrigerator went out on September 12th, 2021. I called Sears and the said their first appoint was September 20th. The Tech arrived had us turn the power off and he reset. Worked for two days and then the freezer went too. Next repair date was October 13th. Replaced the compressor, was told not to open the refrigerator for 24 hours. It wasnt working. Horrible service. Complete rip-off. My hindge on my refrigerator broke. They came to diagnose the problem which I showed them exactly what was wrong. They quoted me $120 plus the $31 part. Upon leaving the guy said that it would be $386 for a 20 minute job. I had already given him my credit card. They came back a month later and I had to help the technician put the hindge on as I had to hold the door in place. He left and said the door would eventually work. He was wrong. Company knew of selling defective Refrigerator because theirs already a lawsuit going on which the company admitted to bad parts . Customers shouldn't be held responsible of labor because parts are covered and they knew they were selling bad Refrigerator that we are still paying for.
