Sears , i am sad to say would get zero stars from me. our washer was under warranty when we started this quest. cancelled app. , no show etc. then we find out they put us in the wrong repair area of our state. Sent repair man . . he fixed it ----ha ha----. said it was supposed to make those noises . After he left my one problem became 7 or 8 problems. I ordered a gas range that the Sears website stated was in stock and available in mid December.They cancelled and reset the date to install it three times. They promised to reimburse me as well, within 12 to 14 business days. They are not honoring this. I have not been reimbursed. I am upset and angry and these people are breaking the law!
I have had the Sears Protection Agreement for years and used to get good maintenance and repair service. However, the last few years have been a nightmare! They have been unable to repair the washer that is covered, yet they refuse to replace it and keep sending parts and repairmen. Transform SR **** Improvement Products LLC had us sign an agreement that they were going to reimburse $300 for the patch and repair of the attic opening. They indicated that we must sign the agreement in order to get paid. Once the job was completed, they never reimbursed us and gave us the run-around. The job number on the letter of agreement is ********.
Sears has completely failed. They used to be a very good company that stood behind their product/service. This no longer applies. They have no respect for for the customer and dont care about the warranty they sell. Ive had a part at my house over a month. The first tech didnt show up. The second said he needed more parts. Do Not Ever Buy from SEARS. I ordered a washer dryer tower and was told I would have it the 17th of December. Then they message me thanking me for changing my delivery date which I did Not do. When I call and ask I'm told they had a delay so I have to wait until the 31st of December. That day comes and goes and I called three times that day to find my order and nobody could tell me anything. I called the 3rd of January and I'm told not I have to wait until the 7th of January. This website is a scam. Takes your money for parts it says are in stock then claims weeks later that theyre backordered, I requested it be cancelled over a week ago already, and the order still isnt cancelled or refunded. They just keep telling me to wait longer. Now theyve told me to wait another week and I should have a cancellation confirmation email but the bank can take another 3-5 days. Its a scam. Beware.
I have A Kenmore Elite refrigerator that went out after six years. The compressor was fixed but I had to fork out $557 for labor/repair and another part. This fridge has compressor issues and repairman are saying they are repairing them all the time. Sears should stand behind this and pay for the whole repair because they put in a faulty compressor.
