This has been, by far, the absolute worst experience I've ever had trying to aquire some repair parts for a Kenmore wall oven. It started back in September of 2020 when the outer glass of my oven shattered because the handle fell off. I went to put the handle back on and tightened the s**** and all was well. First I like to say I have had Sears Serbice for 20 years that being said for the last 10 it's gotten deplorable, unreliable, down right rechet, rag rag just tell people, coustomers Sears Repair Services cannot handle this.My refrigerator the freezer was going out made appointment. I needed to return a part I ordered from Sears PartsDirect. I tried to log-in but my account "could not be found". I called to get an RA# for the return. When I pressed the number relating to returns, I was told to go to the website and automatically disconnected. I would not recommend placing an order with Sears PartDirect. My husband and I placed an order for two ******* washing machine replacement parts in mid-June. We never received any tracking information on the order due to a system issue; however, this company was somehow able to process and ship our order. This is a review about searspartsdirect. I Called two times already to cancel a backorder part. Even filled out their "backorder refund form" online. No reply from the form i filled out and I was told that they are waiting to hear back from the manufacturer about canceling the backorder which I did 10 days ago already. Do not trust these people. They fixed our our riding lawn mower, with a $60 dollar part and then charged us $340 for one hour worth of labor. There has to be something illegal about this.....If you decide not to use them, they charge you $150 just for showing up. What can I do about this.
My husband bought a new kenmore dishwasher in Jan 2017 with a 5 year protection plan. The motor stopped working fall 2019. It took 3 months for sears to replace the motor and the tech did something to the upper rack so that it no longer moved in. I tripped over the door because I couldn't close it with the upper rack stuck. I had to wait another 6 weeks for them to replace the part on the door that broke and the part inside that broke as a result of the rack being messed with. I have been dealing with Sears Home Warranty in reference to my stovetop now working . A repairman was sent out on June 22. I was told it needed 4 parts which they would try to order. Unfortunately, they could not get the 4 parts in- they are unavailable. I have had numerous times to check what the next option is..
