If at all possible, DO NOT USE A&E FACTORY SERVICE, PART OF SEARS HOLDING COMPANY. Unless you have so much time on your hands that you can wait for service. My LG refrigerator stopped cooling on May 25th, 2019. I contacted LG, LG informed me it was covered under warranty. They contacted A&E, and I was promptly notified that I was scheduled for service on June 4th, 9 days off. Awful service on their appliances. Four appointments, still the washer isn’t working and they are rude when you contact their help line. The help line is overseas in the Philippines and they will not work with you to resolve issues.
Beware of sears extended warranty. Their warranty says that they will provide lawn service while your mower is being worked on and they refused to pay anything because I was upset that they would only pay $150 of the $450 I was charged for three mowings of 4 acres.This was listed in their brochure under Service Promise. I found out their PROMISE means nothing. I now understand why Sears is going out of business.

I bought this warranty 2 years ago and decided to cancel after they came to my house several times trying to fix my fridge and never got fixed, sears sells this warranties with false promises stating that if the company they send to your home it’s not able to fix the appliances they will replace. That’s not truth. I stay without a fridge for a whole month they came to fix it work for 2 month and it’s bad again. We purchased an oven/stove with an extended warranty. When a piece on the oven broke we called Sears our to fix. They scheduled us for the following day (Friday, June 14, 2019) between the hours of 1pm and 5pm. My husband took off from work to be home for the repair. At about 5pm on the 14th the service called and said they were running behind and rescheduled us for Monday (3 days later) between the hours of 1pm and 5pm. We recently moved into our home and the homeowners had set up an appointment with Sears to repair our microwave handle. The day the repair man was to come, we were unpacking all day and someone was always here. The day passed and I called the next day and someone from a foreign country who I could barely understand tried to tell me the job was complete. I have been a Sears/******* customer and fan since the 1970s. Always great products and service. I still have my first set of ********* tools. Anyway, I just had a repair call on my 14 y.o. ******* water softener for $99 but that price could be applied towards repair or replacement of the appliance. Since the age and condition of my water softener, the tech urged me to not repair it for $250, but replace it. Sadly, there are none in stock near me. Horrible repair ...quick to take a check but does not fix issue .. refers you to talk to a electrician and charges you a service fee of 105.00 and issue is still happening. I called an electrician ... they came out and said you electric is fine! So I had to pay for another $170 to the electrician that the Sears washing machine repair man said we needed.
