Purchased a refrigerator with bottom freezer in 2016. On the evening of 4/28/2019 it stopped working. Called for repair the morning of 4/29/2019, from the airport as we were going out of town. They wouldn't even schedule a repair unless someone was to call from home to trouble shoot over the phone, even though I told them we had already completed everything they were asking me to do. Horrible Service! I am trying to return a part for a washing machine that the tech ordered in order to get my refund. I have been waiting over a week for the return label to be mailed to me. I was told i could return the part to the store to which I found out you can't. He even got on the phone with me and was told they would email the return label and start the refund. None of which really happened. Next step try and have the funds reversed and call channel 7 news!
My car was acting really strange and a light came on saying my oil level was low. I checked my oil and it was a super dark brown color. Knowing this isn't normal, I took my car to my mechanic and they said the oil was FILTHY and about a qt. low. Looks like Sears didn't even change my oil at all and scammed be out of $70 and potentially ruining my car. STAY AWAY FROM SEARS AT ALL COSTS!! Sears as a whole is awful in resolving issues, billing department makes countless of mistakes that affect the consumers credit history causing extensive time for the consumer to straighten it out when it is their error. Incompetent non English speaking help when calling for repairs who can not understand basic words to get the correct work order processed resulting in appliances that were not to be diagnosed causing service charges you are later billed for! 05/09/2019 Brought my machine from Sears in 2015, machine started acting up 2019. I have the warranty which is good til 2020. Had a technician come to my home on 4 different occasions to attempt to fix my machine with negative results. Came the first time and said it needed one part, ordered part came back to install still didn't work. Ordered two more parts, came back to install washer still doesn't work. My refrigerator stopped cooling. Had to call 3 times to get someone that spoke English well enough for me to understand. Scheduled appointment April 5th between 8 and 5. Repairman finally showed up at 6:45 pm My ******* refrigerator is 2 1/2 years old. He said it had a very slow Freon leak which it probably had when I bought it. He said he had it repaired. Horrible customer service! I just got off the phone after 2 hours, being transferred 7 times and hung up on twice. Finally I am told they can do nothing for me except send me a $50 “apology check”. Really? I am having to wait 2 MONTHS for a new replacement washer to be delivered after my first washer tore up after ONE year! After the service man took the original one apart into pieces, left it that way and said “ oh it will take 2 weeks to order parts so we will just get you a new one to replace it”. Absolute worst company on the planet. Sears employee lied to me about the engineering of the ******* Elite refrigerator (not an LG anymore) which the first tech to repair the fridge (in the first year of course) said it was definitely an LG with the ******* label. It has been repaired numerous times since. I have the extended warranty and every time I ask for a replacement I get a different story.
