I bought a mattress at the Sears on Heywood Road in Greenville, S.C. I took the tags off when I got home. No one told me this voided the warranty. Within a couple of years the mattress started to sag in the middle rather dramatically. I contacted them and they were no help at all. All they said was that since I removed the tag, there was nothing they could do. I get that I removed the tag, but should that really absolve them from selling faulty merchandise? HORRIBLE! I had a layaway I set up online. Called to pay my payment and they falsely returned my item and I've spent the last 2.5 months trying to get refunded for it. Can't call the general Kmart number because you get put on hold for 2+ hours and even after that, the call just hangs up or they pick up and immediately hang up. I would hate to see how they treat their non Shop Your Way rewards members because this is awful. I can't believe I gave this company any of my business.

Sears charge me twice for my dishwasher. They refused to make a refund. Terrible customer service service!

I am trying to write a review regarding Sears Home Services. This is the business that I was pointed to by BBB on line chat. I scheduled a non-warranty repair with Sears Home Services to diagnose issues with my ******* ***** ***** *******Washer. When making the appointment, they asked me if it was stacked and I indicated yes. The service tech arrived at the scheduled time on May 28th 2019. NOTICE: THIS IS A RANT!!! We have used Sears automotive for years- after Michigan City closed we went to Merrillville-for oil change and tires. On our fourth trip out there for the same problem and with an appointment, just made Fri., we find the place lock! The other departments of Sears were opened (?) and we were told that the automotive dept employees walked out Sat. i like so many others on here have had nothing but a run around. I have paid monthly for a service that does not exist and was threatened that if I cancel my contract they will not fix or replace the work order that is already opened. I have been dealing with the same issue since October 2018 and have had 7 service calls and they still will not replace the defective Refrigerator. It takes them over a month to send someone out and I have to call them constantly to see whats going on. It is so ridiculous and they need to be st... read more

Very poor customer service now. I feel certain this, along with poor management, explains why they are in Chapter 11 now. What a shame. To have been one of the largest retailers in America and lose it all.

I’ve been without a refrigerator since April 28, 2019. As of today, June 2nd, after numerous phone calls, hours on hold and a replaced compressor I still have no refrigerator. I was told by the technician there was nothing more he could do and I should call for a replacement. Yet another technician is scheduled to come to try to fix what is obviously a defective piece of equipment. My family is suffering and Sears service has been atrocious. Wasted money on an apparently worthless warranty.

******* Elite Bottom freezer 74053 purchased 7/3/2016 $3000 compressor went out 5/13/2019 ruined $500 in food couldn't get a tech out for 1 week tech came out 5/25 ordered parts compressor still not here until 6/4! We bave been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks and this is unacceptable. Its no wonder Sears is bankrupt, what a shame. Never again!!
