TERRIBLE. Our refrigerator, which was under the manufacturer's warranty, broke down, and it took over a month to get fixed/get the defunct part. When we tried to get the issue resolved quicker, was told that company protocol was that the technician had 30 days to find the needed part, which is the most ludicrous policy I have ever heard. DO NOT buy anything from this company.
Sears Appliance Repair Fort Collins, Colorado. Repair Tech sent out, pulled the appliance apart, then scheduled next appointment two weeks out. We responded to all repair messages. Expected tech never showed up. Call center says, too bad, so sorry. Any business with the name of Sears on it is not to be trusted. Fridge was already broken for two weeks and we were expected to wait ANOTHER two weeks for the next available appointment? Absolute crooks. Find a local repair company if your product isn't under warranty.
Sears is a fraud! They offered me a extended warranty and when told I was on location working and just got home to mail, they would not honor the extended warranty they provided. BUT they did say, if I have a service call come out and pay for it $99, even though I do not need to waste a tech's time on something that is working fine, the would be the only way to get another extension offer. Worst experience ever when trying to purchase an appliance! Went to a Sears store on 6/28/2019, there was NO ONE in the appliance department to answer questions or process the purchase. 20 minutes waiting, -- NOT A SOUL. My review is less than 1 star. There should be negative ratings on the business!! They have the worst service EVER! We had an appointment to have our washing machine fixed. They sent an email to confirm and called with an automated message that someone would be at our house between 8-5. Now, since this is our lake home, we went the night before our appointment and spent the night. We waited ALL day. I ordered a freezer from Sears Online over 3 weeks ago. They sent me a text 12 hours before the scheduled delivery that simply said my delivery would have to be rescheduled. When I checked the status on line, it continued to show the delivery would be arriving. I feel like I've been ripped off. I placed an order on-line on June 15, 2019 for $531.99 and was advised that the item would arrive at the local Sears Home Store on June 27th. I ordered a single replacement screw for our lawnmower. I was charged $9.99 for shipping, $3.99 for the part. My order confirmation said that it would be shipped via standard shipping. The bill of lading, however, said that I was charged according to the UPS freight table charges. I called customer service and escalated the issue to a supervisor only to be told that that is their standard practice, regardless of the items ordered.
