Sears’ business conduct is unethical and dishonest. Sears promised a delivery date after the order was replaced, discount on the price, and a credit towards a future purchase. We did not receive our order until weeks after the order date. Furthermore, the discount and credit towards a future purchase were not received. Please do not be lured by Sears' prices and claims, what they promise and actually deliver are not the same.
Since I cant leave a zero star rating. Do not waste your time. They made me lose 2 days of work, and canceled the second appointment on me, without contacting me via phone. Evidently parts need to be confirmed. I didnt know they were being shipped to me, and there were no directives in the box. I have wasted so much money, and no repair. All they are successful in doing is hard selling their warranty plan.
If you feel like sitting on hold for and hour, being lied too, being told you have to pay for services up front in full before they are completed, then having your money stolen. This is the company for you. Now I have to go contact my cc company to make a fraud claim. Good luck.
I bought a refrigerator two years ago. In June it went out. I call sears to use my warranty and that was the beginning of my nightmare. They said no one was available to come and repair my refrigerator until June 19th. I was very unhappy but accepted the appointment. On the 19th no one came out. We ordered a refrigerator online on June 20, 2019. Within minutes, we cancelled the order by calling the customer service department. We were told the request to cancel would be submitted, and we should hear back from them within 72 hours. In the meantime, the refrigerator was sent to our local store, our account was charged $510.38, and we continue to receive emails stating the order is ready for pick up. Sears customer service is horrible!!! I scheduled a service for my tractor (lawman mower) which will not disengage the blade. A tech came and said he did not see a problem. He did not want to double check as I explain that it does not do it all the time. Two weeks later the same problem. I scheduled another appointment. I was very upset with your Sears Home Warranty group, Scheduled a repair for Wednesday 07/17/2019 between 8 and 12, no one showed. Called at 12:30 they assured me that someone would be out soon. Waited until 5 and called again to find out the repairman had called in sick, but noone on his/her route was told of this to resechedule. On 6/19/2019 Sears Home Services arrived to troubleshoot and repair an issue with the water and ice dispenser on our Whirlpool refrigerator that would only work intermittently. The repairmen arrived and after making some checks on components, and talking to another technician on the phone, determined that the problem may be in the wiring in the door and could not make the repair because parts were no longer available.
