I would give 0 stars if I could. The technician was fantastic. However, my overall experience was terrible. From my first call for service to being able to use my fridge was 3 months. That's right, 90 days. The first appointment was made on May 21 for June 5, two weeks later. After receiving three reminder emails, one of which told me "your appointment is today", around 10 am on June 5 I received a call telling me there was no tech available and I needed to reschedule, for an additional three weeks out, June 25. I had a dryer repair scheduled between 8-12, yesterday. Repair technician did not show up in the between 8-12 window; no call was made to me. Talked to customer care several times yesterday and today. So far, things that the representatives have told me, have not occurred. 1. Technician will arrive between 12-1, after no show. Nope. 2. I ordered online for pick up at the store on Sunday. I got an email stating the item was ready for pickup. I drive an hour each direction to pick up the item. when I get their the store associate tells me that they have no idea what the item is but they were told just to click it was ready for pickup. so after spending 2 hours of my time and $20 in gas they chose to say they looked and the item was ready for pick up when in fact they don't even have the item. it has now been 72 hours. Had to return 2 Kenmore refrigerator in less than a month for not working! Returned on July 27,2019 and it’s August 12 2019 Sears still hasn’t issued our refund! I’ve called about 9 times concerning our money back was told it takes 7 to 10 business days finally called aug 8th spoke to supervisor to only find out that they never put our refund in the system!? It has taken 2 months to get my ******* Elite refrigerator repaired under factory warranty. The last 3 scheduled service appointments have been no shows (no call, no text or email). We have missed work and no one takes responsibility for anything after we wait days and weeks for the next appointment. My experience with their “executive customer service” is that it is no different than calling the 800 number, apologize but unable to get a tech to my house. No wonder this business is failing. I have purchased all my appliances from Sears for 25 years. I purchased online a refrigerator 7/27/19. It was delivered the evening of 7/30/19 and worked for 30 minutes. I was told we could have another one delivered in 7 days after we had already been without a refrigerator for 4 days. There were no other options offered. We purchased and installed our another refrigerator the next day from a local business. Don't buy extended warranty! Its a waste of time and money. I have an issue with water accumulating on bottom of refrigerator and leaking onto kitchen floor. I called them and they scheduled a repair appointment and sent me several email and text confirmations. The repair company never came. I called back a few days later and they claim the appointment was never actually scheduled, just tentative. Huh???Said they would call me back within 72 hours....not. Its a week later! I have received lemon products. Seem used. Trouble since day one. That’s right day one. I think there are laws in Colorado for consumer protection. Just purchased Feb 8th this year now flooded and no one has given me the money to pay for damages. I want my money back but first damages paid. Happened end of April beginning of May. Still nothing.
