Purchased garage door opener and installation from Sears. Garage door opener arrived on time. I scheduled appointment for installation on 8/17. They called on 8/16 and set up appointment time between 12-4 pm. At 3:30 pm, I became concerned. Made four different phone calls. Each time being told they would call back. Never heard back from them. Nobody showed up. I later called Sears and requested a refund. Never use their installation. It is a joke.
I know why sears is going out of business. My refrigerator broke on 8/19/19 and they gave us an appointment for 8/27/19. They suck.
DO NOT BUY OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM SEARS!! We purchased a brand new refrigerator back in June 2019 A Kenmore That broke within a matter of days they sent out another one we receive that July 5 that refrigerator Completely stopped working freezer totally frosted up refrigerator was extremely warm And the freezer made no ice! We have a Sears home - warranty for our freezer - which needed repair. Little did we know we would be without a freezer for over 6 weeks - 3 weeks to get a repair person here - and an additional 3 weeks because the repair failed - and we are going to have to wait another week before the current job will (hopefully) be closed and our freezer restored. I purchased a ******* Elite refrigerator built by ** from my local Sears store. Within 18 months the compressor broke. In doing some research, it seems that ** knew about this flaw before I purchased my refrigerator and They and Sears continued to sell these products. I have an extended warranty through Sears and they can't fix it yet. I've had 3 repair visits and one failed new compressor installation that did not work. I purchased a washer and dryer on July 2, paid also $250 delivery fee. It's August 15, and they have not delivered it yet. They are very rude on the phone, and the owner is never there. Don't shop at this store!

I ordered a mattress online on July 6, 2019. Upon delivery , The address was incorrect so they could not deliver the mattress. Come to find out the mattress was defective so they sent it back. Fast forward to two rescheduled deliveries. I call to ask what's going on? I can't **** with sears anymore! We were told that we have a schedule refrigerator repair for today 8/15/19 between 1-5 pm. This was canceled. This also happened last week on 8/7/19 for the appointment scheduled from 1-5 pm. We are very disgusted!!!! My father, who has dementia and diabetes and my mother, who had a heart attack depend on the the refrigerator for their medications.
