I'm Warning ... Do not fall for charges "Warranties" for home services. My refrigerator broke twice in same month. First time they came broke and made it worst. Should be ZERO stars! Don't even bother with these people! You'll get an appointment, but they'll cancel it. I had my first appointment to get my washing machine fixed on 7/3. They never showed up and never even called me. Just rescheduled for 7/5. Never showed up, never even called me. There's no real people you can talk to here. Sears customer service is horrendous. We purchased a ******* Elite refrigerator in October 2014, which has a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. The sealed refrigerant system, aka compressor, failed on May 19 causing our freezer not to work. Finally, on June 18 we got a new compressor. After that repair, the temperature in both our fridge and freezer were 68 and 65 degrees, respectively. It took another 10 days for them to come out and try to repair. Hello, We had a contract with Sears to repair our refrigerator. The Repair Protection Agreement implied that if the refrigerator needed more than three repairs in a year, Sears would replace it. They refuse to do it and continue to send their technicians to repair. Their technicians do insufficient job and the refrigerator remains warm. We already have had five visits. It disturbs our life because we have to wait the whole day for them but the food remains spoiled. Please help to replace our refrigerator!
I installed a new Central AC system this past November for $9000, and it has not even worked for one day. I called them repeatedly asking them to fix this. So far they have given one excuse after the other to delay fixing their AC system, even while temperatures go over 90 degrees this summer. Definitely do not recommend Sears to any other customer.
I’ve been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks, just waiting on parts. Sears cancelled my scheduled repair for 6/29/19 because they said the system showed the part hadn’t been shipped. That same day 6/28/19 I arrive home to find the part on my doorstep. I immediately call Sears to get me back on the schedule and the system tells me a tech will be out Saturday 6/29/19 (yay!! I have a *** ***** lawn tractor that needed some service. I went on Sears Home Central website and was able to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and look at my tractor. Mind you the website stated that they work on all tractors, even ones not purchased at Sears. While scheduling the appointment I looked at the different brands they service and *** ***** was listed. I had a service tech come to my home on June 4th because my washing machine was not spinning the water from my clothes completely. The tech said my sensitivity module needed to be replaced and also ordered foot bases along with a lid lock. Everything was delivered except the module. I was told it’s on back order and won’t be delivered until mid July.
