I would choose Zero Stars if it were an option! I would choose ZERO stars if it were an option! I needed a repair to my Maytag Dryer. I called Sears Home Services and was given an appointment on 10/17/19 with a window of 1 to 5 pm. The technician had not arrived by 5 pm, and I did two online chats with them. They kept delaying the estimated arrival time and never did show up, though we waited until 9 pm. I was at the ***** in Palmer MA 01069 today. They are closing the store so everything is on sale. I dont normally do much business there, but stopped in to see what they had. They had Rachel ***dry cat food on sale for 50% off. Have never tried it before but decided to give it a shot. I know it does say all sales final. I got home and went to put some in the cat bowl and the bag was full of bugs! So I closed it back up, took the receipt and went right back over. I never write reviews, positive of negative. But my experience with this company was so absurd, I had to share with others. I called Sears Home Repair because I needed one rubber seal replaced in my water softener. They send out A&E Factory Service to repair it. The technician from A&E shows up and confirms that the seal is bad (duh - I told them that on the phone), and he quotes me $50 for the the seal (again - one.rubber.seal.) and $244 for the labor. I needed to replace our old steam boiler so contacted a couple local providers and then was directed to Sears Home Improvement by Home Advisor. A sales person came to my home and inspected the existing steam boiler and provided a quote for the replacement. They were the lowest bidder and offered a boiler that looked like an exact replacement to the boiler currently installed. I'd give it no stars or negative service if possible. You are not able to talk to anyone who can help at all. They just transfer you around to dept. that have nothing to do with your order or your refund. Its been almost a month since I returned an item, & no refund. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR ANY REASON

I live in Moon, PA, and they came into our brand new home, and DESTROYED our carpet. We were getting our carpet cleaned for our son's health, but they left it soaking wet. It was crunchy when it dried, and it shrunk. When we called them, the technician said not to clean it again, and that the guy qho did it before was always too fast. On October 7, 2019 I called Sears and made full payment due of $51.00. I updated my info and gave the rep routing number & bank acct number to make full payment due of $51.00. The payment was not deducted from my bank account, so I called them back today, October 15, 2019. It took several minutes for me to get through the automated system to talk to a rep. I was outraged that the female rep. I had talked on October 7th did not record anything! No bank acct info, no new email address, no new phone number, much less my payment... read more

Failed to honor advertised price. Managed to change price while chating. Very sneaky I don't think I trust them anymore.
