If I could give zero stars, I would. I made the mistake of ordering a recliner from their site. Less than 24 hours later, I saw a,different item on their site, and needed to cancel. They told me they could cancel the item even though it did not ship, until the item was in the carrier's possesion. They shipped the item half away across the country for nothing. I had to file a credit card dispute to force them to give the freight company a return authorization. Seven weeks after cancelling I'm still without a refund.
This is an addendum to a complaint I posted yesterday, October 29th. On October 25th, I tried to order parts for my riding mower through Sears Parts Direct only to find that the website wouldn't work properly. I contacted them through the phone number on the website only to mistakenly order the wrong part because the drawings were not well labeled. They are now Transform SR Holdings LLC. Still using the Sears name and corporate office so it is them. They are doing this to mislead consumers as to their actual identity. You have no recourse in the courts if you do not have their business name correct. Know all this because they illegally messaged and called me on my cell phone which is on the do not call list. Sears Parts Direct website showed an exploded version of the engine I needed parts for, but not clearly labeled. The website would not let me submit the order, so I called the number on the screen. It took several attempts to get the people on the phone to understand that I wanted the parts department. I'm beyond disgusted with the lack of customer service! I ordered a piece of exercise equipment over two weeks ago and the item was never received. I called customer service on 10/27/19 to check on the status and was advised that the store received the item and it was picked up. The item was never picked up. I have literally been transferred from person to person with no one taking reasonability for the errors! We have had nothing but poor service from Sears Home Services! After dealing with our refrigerator for 5 WEEKS and 4 separate technicians, we had to call them out for our washing machine. They had us scheduled for today with a 4 hour window. After not hearing anything and the window being passed, I contacted their website chat. This is the worst run company ive ever had to deal with. I purchase with them on a daily business and make at least 4 to 6 delivery orders in a month. OUt of all my delivery orders, I would say at least half have had to be rescheduled. This is over a year and this is the average rate of missed deliveries I would say. If I was just a one time customer, this would not be an issue. However, I get equpiment from them which I need for projects for work. I wish I could leave 0 stars. I paid for a Kenmore refrigerator that is supposed to work. I have had it replaced once and it still doesn’t work. They have scheduled a repair service then cancelled it and stated I need to hire a plumber. HELLO brand new appliance. WHAT! Now they show no record of the replacement and wow they just hung up on me again. I AM DONE WITH SEARS! They suck.
I bought dryer and washer. When requested to get item installed, they installed it wrong. My dryer was shaking. On top of that, it was leaking gas. My house smelled like something, but I didn't know where it was coming from. I have a newborn at home and it angers me that they would have "certified" technicians that can't do their job properly.
