We have the Sears home warranty that we signed up for last year 2019$ 69 a month and a $100 deductible. I called to make a claim on our electric outlets not working. I was told from a lady from another country( that I couldn't hardly understand), that I would get a call from a "tech" and make appt time with them and I would pay $100 to the tech. Worst experience ever. I only wish I could score lower than one star. I have a home warranty through another company, and one of the service vendors is Sears. I have since removed them from a possible vendor for repair. My dryer's heating element failed on Thursday morning and, since it was cheaper to pay the detectable, I went through the home warranty. Sears First off I just want to say how disappointed I am in Sears. I bought a refrigerator through layaway and paid it off like in two weeks. It was delivered Wednesday February 5. The guys dropped it off hooked it up check the water came out and left. At first it started making ice and then it just stopped and no ice has been made since February 12. I bought a Kenmore (LG) 51833 26.1 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator w/ Grab-N-Go Door, paid $1620.39 on March 17, 2017 and in January 2020 the compressor is gone. All the service representative said is sorry. The repairman said $139 for coming to check the fridge, and it will cost $988 to repair it. After calling around a few times and contacting sears, I was told the compressor is under 5-year warranty, but I cannot get unless I pay sears $988 to install. I purchased a washing machine in June 2019. The washing machine worked great for the first 4 months, but now every single load does not spin out (No matter the size of the load) and I have to manually change the cycle mode to Drain & Spin every single time. I have had a technician come out 4 times to tell me there is nothing wrong with the washing machine as he is only getting an error code of "Unbalanced Load", but that cannot be possible as when I turn it to "Drain&Spin" it spins out just fine and does not stop to refill i... read more

Called b/c my refrigerator stop getting cold. A tech came and asked what happen. Told them that i'm not sure what happen. It stopped working on 2/5/2020. I also told them that I lost power on Monday but everything was fine. Sears has denied my claim at they state it was due to the power. I told them that wasn't possible and asked that they send someone in to confirm that it was the power. Mind you the I have kids and I'm a dietetic . I ordered a product through Sears and it was purchased through their online market place (a company called * *** * *************. The item never shipped. I have had multiple phone conversations with customer service reps who repeat the same information every time. contract 11407329 sears warranty for home appliance. Had repairman Fidel come out said we need mother board, next week Mateo puts in mother board $295 says its the outlet. We ask why did'nt you say that at first. Fidel, we only look at one thing per visit. Our electrician says nothing wrong with outlet. No dryer for three weeks. Dryer 2 years old. I ordered an **dishwasher online for pickup that was supposed to be at the outlet store near my house. It's been 25 days and I still haven't gotten a call or email to pick up the dishwasher. I've written five emails and placed four calls to Sears customer service, as well as calling the outlet. None of my actions have gotten any results. I'm contesting the charges with my credit card company to get a refund.
