My husband and I purchased windows from Sears in 2014. The experience was positive and we hoped to purchase more windows with the company. However, after the retail business closed in our hometown we were leery about purchasing more windows from a company that seemed to not be doing well. I wish I could leave zero stars. Absolute worst customer service ever. I have spoken to 8 different people with this company. I have been hung up on twice and I have been outright lied to by their employees. All of this in an attempt to get information that their service technician should have provided when he was at my home. It makes no sense that all I needed was a documented cost for labor to install parts and no one within this company could provide this. Please do not buy a Sears Home Warranty. On several occasions, the technician who was scheduled to service my refrigerator cancelled the service call. You are forced to pay the deductible for the service call in advance, and then it takes months to be reimbursed. I requested cancellation of my Sears Home Warranty policy 3 months ago and asked my bank to not authorize any future payments to this company, however, my bank account is still being debited $54.30 for the monthly warranty payment. I ordered parts for a rototiller and somehow the order was doubled when I check the original order. Returning the extra parts and getting the credit for them was a nightmare, dealing with their overseas counterpart was difficult with the language barrier and phone static. Buy somewhere else and buy American.

Do not purchase a Sears Home Warranty. Terrible customer service. My oven has not worked for 3 months, the parts are here, but Sears cancelled the repair appointments 3 times. No explanation for cancellation, and cancellation made the day of the appointments in the middle of when the repair person was to arrive. I then have to reschedule and the next appointment is always, 3 weeks later. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM!

Do not buy the warranty from Sears Home Services. They will put you in an endless loop. Awful customer service.

Terrible experience, bought a $2500 Kenmore elite refrigerator, the compressor stopped working and all my food spoiled, the technician came out to fix it, first he told me that the motherboard had burned because of the bad compressor, he even offered me $400 to take the refrigerator off my hands, I guess he would fix it and sell it. I had him install a new compressor which he charged $388 for labor and a $140 diagnostic fee. Why should I pay labor fees if it’s in warranty? We have a Sears Protection Agreement on our Kenmore fridge. After the freezer iced over and the fridge began leaking on our floor, we had a tech come out, and he determined that four parts were needed. He put in the order, and when he was supposed to come back two weeks later, we found out the parts are indefinitely on back order.
