On Oct. 17, 2020, repair technician checked refrigerator and informed me that the part to repair my refrigerator was no longer available. I was told that the search for replacement part would take up to 2 weeks. By Nov. 20, 2020, I was told that a search for the part was ongoing. In the meantime I received 3 phone calls to renew my protection agreement. On Dec. 26, 2020, I received a call to let me know I was approved for a replacement valued at $1700. Today is December 23. Original service call was for October 14. Paid 99 for dianosis and then 240 for parts and service. Backordered part has not come in and I have not heard once from Sears. I do the online “chat” service feature weekly to try to get repair resolved. Cannot speak to anyone at their 800 number, and referred to call it by their online rep. Terrible terrible service, I think it is a fraud and scam. To think that a formerly reputable company like Sears is running a business consistent with a fraudulent company.

Horrible Experience --- Order replacement convection motor for an oven. Part came damaged and missing a piece. Also the lunge nut off the old part did not fit the new part. Called Sears part direct to report damaged and missing parts recieved. Also sent the flange nut for new part that does not fit the part they sent. Again contacted customer service. Agent refunded my money for damaged part and assisted with ordering the part. reordered part took weeks to come. Second part order again Damaged upon arrival. contacted Sears P... read more

On November 14, 2020 I ordered a freezer from Sears.com. Their site said there was one in stock and ready for pickup. I went to the store the following day to pick it up and they said there was none in stock and they didn’t know when they would receive any. On November 21 I noticed Sears had charged me for the freezer. I called them that day, cancelled the order and they said they would refund my money in 7-10 days. I purchased a Kenmore Washer and dryer for around $2600 from sears. 14 months later my washer has a completely fried board and the tech had no idea why. He told me the repair would be $700+. So I called in to sears and spoke to a "Kelly". She told me the best they could do is a 20% off the bill and a $50 gift card, which i declined. She took my information and told me she would call me within 72 hours with a better solution. Its been an entire week and I did not receive any call back. If i could give this company a 1 star i would. This has been a nightmare and their customer service has been horrible. Instead of having a repair person under their warrantly program repair our furnace, they have you go through an alternate provider and then submit the receipt and hope that you get your money reimbursed. I have tried 3 different appliance repairs with them and each time "they have no affiliate in our area". We reside in Syracuse, NY which is a large area, there are plenty of heating companies that do repairs... read more

No reply to emails, phone calls, or chats. Just a sorry we will try you again later My refrigerator is under warranty. It has been broke four times in two years. They wont replace it. This last time they sent a tech out thirty seven days ago to say "Yep its broke". No reschedule to fix or replace it. Sears tells me they cant reschedule because that one is still open. The people to talk to "overflow" does not answer.

The repairman came to our home to do a cleaning and maintenance on our 2 year old front loader dryer. After he left a few days later, their was a rattle under the top cover that wasn't there before he opened it up. When we called to have them send him or another tech out to recheck the dryer, we spent approximately 3-4 hours total on the phone where we were transferred various times, only to repeat the story and then told we would have to pay for a service repair. I was told my part was in stock. Days later I was sent an email that it was discontinued. I was charged shipping and the price of the part. I only received a refund for the shipping. I have spoken to three different agents and know one seems to know how to refund me the remainder. I will never use them again, nor refer anyone to them.
