Negative starts if I could. I clearly asked if they had a part in stock. I asked the rep Rachel to double check as on other sites it's backordered. She guaranteed that I will receive it as it is in stock and not on backorder for them. So I placed the order and now I see it is backordered. I didn't get an email or any notification. Zero star for these guys. Need them to fix a leaking steam port from a brand new Dryer under warranty. The OEM sent A&E. First visit was good. Part was ordered. But they did not tell me the spare part was being shipped to me directly nor provided a tracking number until they missed their first visit. So I scheduled repair visit again but these folks were unable to keep the subsequent scheduled visits for 5 more times! And they changed the scheduled visit without consulting me, the customer. I have had the Sears Master Protection plan for YEARS and it has been an overall satisfactory experience, for which I pay a premium price. I should have figured something was wrong when I called in October for my annual maintenance of these 10 appliances. One is at another place, they refused to service that one. Awful! I had an appointment set through my warranty company. My dishwasher wasn't working so I wanted to get it repaired with my warranty. It was scheduled 6 days after I called in, I was instructed to have someone home from 1-5pm. My wife took off of work, I was flooded with calls and texts confirming my appointment, which I was okay with. I used Sears because I believed them to be a reliable company. I set up a home repair for my treadmill back on Oct 13th. Their window for appts is 8am-5pm (worse than the cable company). They rescheduled. After coming out the next day, they said they needed to order a part and scheduled another appt. Absolutely horrible service! Had an original technician come out in October to see what was wrong with my dishwasher. We knew it was the handle and he confirmed. Waited and waited for the part that finally came in. So on December 18th the second technician came out and started to take apart the area of the handle only to find that an additional part was needed and if the first technician had done his job we would have all the parts needed. So here we are, January 4th, still without the additional part.
Worst experience I have ever had buying something online, and now I can’t get them to issue my refund.
I can't even give them one star - but it won't post review without at least one. Sears has really gone down hill. I purchased a Kenmore top load high efficiency washer and a Kenmore gas dryer from them in 2016 and paid extra for a 5 year warranty. In May 2020, my washing machine sounded like a jet engine was taking off. I called for service and a repairman was here the next day. He had to order parts which arrived a week later.
