How far the Sears Company has fallen. We placed an order in December of 2020 for two snowblower parts. One (a tiny piece) was shipped. The other has languished in "backorder" status for two months now. No contact from seller. Finally the order was cancelled by seller, two months later. Sears Parts Direct did not make any move to compensate us for the cost of this item. We had to contact them and ask for a refund. Two weeks later, and nothing has happened. I sure wish I would have read some of these reviews before contacting Sears to repair my dryer. I reached out to Sears because I always had good experiences with their repair services in the past. Unfortunately, that was many years ago, and the current company is not the company I remember. A technician came out to my house in January to fix my dryer. This customer complaint stems from the failure of Sears Home Warranty Program to honor the terms of its contract. On December 6, 2020, the customer’s Kenmore Elite range stopped working. The customer notified Sears customer service, and an appointment for a Sears repair technician was scheduled for December 23, 2020. The customer paid $75 for the service call. This fee was charged in addition to the $600 annually that the customer pays for the Sears Home Warranty program. ($49.99 per month) The repair technician visited the ... read more

Fails to keep their appointments. Telephone service is from overseas, and they cannot help with anything. ABRUPTLY RESCHEDULES APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT EXPLANATION. Advertises local service centers but all phone numbers connect you to an overseas call center. Supervisors are no more help than the initial operator.

Bought a brand new dishwasher in August, it broke in November. We have the 5 year warranty on it. A service guy came out on 11/11/2020 said he needed to order parts for it. I’ve called every two weeks since then. I was told my part would finally ship 1/6/2021, never received it. Called today 2/16/2021 and my part is on back order?!?! Asked for a refund or fully replaced dishwasher and they can’t do that, even though the warranty states if it’s been longer than 2 months with no solution, a replacement can be issued! SEARS IS CLEARLY ON IT'S LAST LEG. What used to be considered a quality company is now complete trash. We ordered a dish washer in November for $900 and the delivery was delayed several times. We received it 2 months later and it came in poor packaging and had several scratches on it including on the front. We immediately called and asked for either an exchange or partial refund. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WAIT 2 WEEKS THEN TELL YOU YOUR PART IS ON BACK ORDER.. KEEP TELLING YOU ITS ON BACK ORDER AND THEN WHEN U WANT A REFUND U HAVE TO WAIT 3-7 BUSINESS DAYS.... WHAT A SCAM!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

This company is nothing but a bunch of scam artist and FRAUDS using the Sears good name. My husband came across this company when we needed our HVAC fixed. We use the authentic Sears a few years ago and thought they were the same - turns out they are in name only. We were quoted a price, told about the monthly fee and a deductible of $100 per item. It took two and one half months for a gasket to arrive for my ******* double door refrigerator which is only 5 years old. Then the company sent two instead of one, When a certain female employee realized it she called my house six times yesterday leaving voicemails, frantic because they had made that mistake.
