Sarges' Smokehouse BBQ was founded in June of 2013 by Ken and Brian, with Chris joining the team soon after, long-time friends who served together at MacDill AFB. All retired now, we combined our years of experience to develop a unique style of Southern BBQ, with highlights from St. Louis to Memphis, Texas to the Carolinas. Thanks for your input Cody, that's something we'll look into. Rib Tips directly correspond with how well ribs sell for during the week. The more ribs we sell, the more tips we have. If we get enough tips stocked up to sustain them as a lunch offering, they make it to the menu! Usually about every other Friday. We do however post to Facebook and Twitter the Thursday before the tips will be served!
Love this place! Get the large baked beans, they are addictive! Everything we have tried has been on point. Don't miss out.
Went to Sarge's for the first time today based on a recommendation from a co-worker. I'm glad I took her advice! I ordered the BBQ chicken boat with sides of cole slaw and Mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Mac n cheese was so creamy and tasty. I also used a lot of their sweet and spicy BBQ sauce...amazing! Can't wait to go back. The service was also fast and friendly and they will give you a card to earn a free meal!
the best in Tampa. No one comes close. The other restaurants ... don't waste your $$$$

Been eating there since they opened tried a lot of BBQ they have the absolute best
