For 12 years, we have been receiving mail containing sensitive and private financial information for a person who does not live at our address. We have contacted Santander multiple times over the past 12 years via phone and email, requesting that they correct their error. We have spent 12 years writing "return to sender" on the envelopes and mailing them back, requesting that they correct their error. They have done nothing to remedy the situation and we continue to receive this stranger's personal banking information at our... read more

Overall Santander has been an "OK" Bank. Back in Feb my debit card was blocked 2 times which forced me to contact Fraud Prevention to unblock my card. I appreciate the added security to my card but found it a hinderance the Third time I was being asked to call within a 2 month period. It was also the same retail store which triggered all three blocks. I was able to finally make it to a branch in Randolph, MA to process a transaction with a teller (Was not easy due to closures) and requested a new card. I received a phone cal... read more

I mostly had only good experience with Santander for the past 5 years. Now however I'm very frustrated. I received a new card but not my temporary pin and therefore I can't activate my card. I am getting very frustrated because the branch says I have to do it with customer service on the phone. Well I call and wait forever they say I have to go into the branch or they transfer me and I wait again forever. Santander is absolutely predatory. When I bought my 1st car, they financed me but didn't tell me what my interest rate would be until after I signed. I got stuck in 27% interest rate. Only scraps were going to my principle. For 5 months, they wouldnt put ANY of my payment to my principle. I have never been late on a payment. I did everything I was supposed to do. They refused to help me. For 1 year and a half, I paid $7,000 and only $1,000 went to my principle. I will NEVER do business with them again. They are scam artists!

Worst bank to deal with their customer service. They had paid my four mortgage payments when I did not had money in my Business accounts. Basically put me out of business because I can not pay any body else now. After making so many phone calls nothing come out of all this time wasted. I felt like I was talking to blank wall. Now they had shut down my bill pay section. At this point I will to move my 11 accounts with another bank.

DAILY INTEREST RATE DOUBLES WITH DEFERMENTS AND LATE PAYMENTS, READ THE SMALL PRINT ALMOST ANOTHER YEAR PAYMENTS TO YOUR PAYOFF EVEN IF YOU CATCH UP YOUR DEFERMENTS AND ACCRUED INTEREST THEY STILL WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY JUST BE PREPARED TO PAY MORE UPON MATURITY AND YOU WON'T BE INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED.

His bank fraudulently opened an account when I was told they would be shredding documents that I filled out. After wasting an hour and a half of my life Santander Bank US - Branch. I went in to create a new account - started by telling the rep online banking was my most important feature and that I wanted a demonstration of the online banking.
