Will hold your check deposits from 7 days to 3 weeks claiming they have to verify funds all while making money with your money other banks will clear your check in 1 to 2 business days worst bank i had to deal with i cant wait to close this account

Can I leave less than a one star review?? We fell behind on payments on our car with Santander. Unfortunately, we contracted the covid virus which made our situation worse and the car was repoed on December 8th. We called to find out what are options were and was told on 2 separate phone calls that we would have to pay the past due payments with fees to bring the account current and after answering a few questions, if we were 'approved' we would be given an amount with instructions on how to redeem the car. This company is committing fraud and theft to their custoners on a daily basis and based on deceptive business practices . Santander has been sued by many states for their subprine fraud scheme and are not following the settlemnt agreement . I would pay full month payment on time they would then credit only portion on date paid and then then wait days and even weeks to credit remaining amount to intentionally cause your account to show as late and charge illegal interest per day as well as double payment and processing fees ... read more

Horrible bank ! Takes allll interest and only puts a small Amount of your monthly payments toward principal balance they steal money from you ! One day my car said 22,000 pay off then at the bank it said 22,000 the. Calling to ask why my account balance hasn’t cleared they added another 20 Dollars. My account still does not show that it’s paid off I do not know what to do since they cashed my 22,000 check this bank is made up of professional thieves

Worst Customer Service EVER! Went to this bank Saturday at 12:30PM on 9/26/2020. Needed a signature medallion for my Letter of Intent to transfer funds from my old 401k to an IRA. I had the letter in hand...dark-haired younger woman took my documents and told me I needed to bring in a recent statement from the brokerage as well. I am absolutely disgusted by the negligence of this horrendous company that should be burned to the ground. I have paid this loan off as of 2016 with a paid off letter. These nimrods have charged off my account, have ruined my credit & send me mail for me & my deceased father. Since 2010 when I initially took out the loan I have also purchased another vehicle in 2016 and have paid it off in full I do not have any issues with them at all! The worst company I have ever dealt with not just bank but company. I have an auto loan through this bank. We thought we were making the correct payments through their website just to find out the payments were going to China. After my vehicle was reposesed I explained the situation to several reps only to be met with hostility and rudeness. After I got the money back from my bank I still had to pay hundreds of dollars in late fees plus repo fees as well as pay the auto auction to release the vehicle back to me. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. HORRIBLE customer service. I will be paying off my auto loan with them today and leaving bad reviews for them anywhere I can. If my employees acted as their’s do, I’d fire everyone of them.
