I was added to my wife's account and I paid the add-on fee using my credit card. When it was time to renew her account, Sam's charged my credit card $140.00 without asking me. At the time I signed up, I was not asked or given the option to opt out (if its their standard policy) of auto renewal. My wife had 3 credit cards already on file with them, which had been used in the past for renewal. I joined the club and paid the $45 membership fee with my credit card. Everything was kosher for the first day, as I was issued a member number and able to create an online account and login and use the app with no problem. The next day I could not login at all. The app didn't work and the reset password function didn't work. I contacted customer support and they said my account was closed for security reasons but no explanation was given for what was wrong with the account. I don't recommend ordering online at Sam's Club! I have had two very nerve racking experiences and therefore WILL NOT have a third! The first time I ordered online was when I sent (attempted to that is) something to my daughter in the Military overseas. The item took forever to get there (not blaming Sam's Club for issues with the US Post Office) however when it finally arrived it didn't work. But having to only communicate with their Customer Service via Chat (multiple times!) was a frustrating ordeal on several levels. The... read more

I talked to chat customer support to cancel an order 5 min after placing it and then was told they couldn't cancel it. I needed to call fedex once I get tracking. I got tracking, FedEx said only Sam's can cancel or change address. Called Sam's and was told Sam's was told by fed ex there is a policy where they cannot change anything... The run around is CRAZY! Beware, they will renew your membership automatically without giving you heads-up. I was shopping at Sam's and the worker asked if I wanted to renew my membership and I told her I wasn't going to renew it. Today I get an email telling me they took the money out of my account to renew my membership. I called the corporate office to get a representative, English was her second language. Sam’s Club travel and entertainment is the most horrible experience ever. I purchased Metallica tickets April 2022. I spent 456.00 for 2 tickets. I was told I would have tickets 48 hours prior to event August 14th. At 48 hours no tickets, I contacted customer service and I was told 1-3 hours. Once again no tickets. It has been ten days since my Sam's Club account was hacked despite me having two Factor authentication on my account which leads me to believe this was internal. Within 20 minutes of finding out I was hacked I had canceled my bank card and reset my Sam's Club password to avoid further fraudulent orders.
