Sam's Club is like the Hotel California... ... You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave! Seriously, if you sign up for a membership, plan on never being able to easily cancel unless you threaten them. They will automatically charge your credit card, and never offer to refund. Instead, they'll tell you to wait ten weeks for a check or dispute with your credit card company. Thankfully, my credit card company understands service and refunded immediately.

Absolutely furious. I received a Members Mark Kids Explorer Sofa that was defective. I tried to return it multiple times. It had to be picked up because it was a sofa vacuum packed in a small box. Because of this, when it inflates, there is no box it and the many pieces will fit in. They made note of that and when FedEx came to get it, they would not take it due to it not being in a box. I had to take work off to be home when someone would pick it up because I could not leave it on the front porch (so I was told). Three time... read more

I had an issue at the fuel station where I and another club member were being physically threatened by another person. Upon getting the attendant to come out, the other member and I were still being threatened in front of the attendant and nothing was done at all. It's an unsafe environment with the attendants not paying any attention or not reacting even when called over while someone is actively threatening a member. I lodged a complaint with their customer service but was blown off.

Not worth the subscription fee. Shipping delayed? Package not deliverable, but does Sam's know this? No, of course not. Fed Ex broke another package. Sam's leaves the burden on us if it is not deliverable. It will just sit there in the warehouse. What do they think we use shipping for, kicks? At 3.35 a gallon. it is not feasible to constantly run to the store. Absolutely disgusted.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They made a membership renewal charge to my card that was not authorized. I had complimentary guest access and would do in store pick ups through that which is the only way they had access to my card information. Upon seeing the charge come through I called the company to cancel the charge and the membership. I was told that I could either go in to the store to seek a refund, get a $100 gift card to Wal-Mart/Sam's Club, or have a check sent in the mail that would take 8-10 wee... read more

I received a 2021 offer in the mail to join Sam's Club for $45.00/year. The offer stated that I would receive a $45.00 Sam's Club gift card as an incentive. I completed the offer but never received the promised gift card. Recently, I received the exact offer in the mail again and was able to review and check that I understood the offer exactly. Some how someone got hold of my credit card information. I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY. They accepted charges using my credit card via one of their account holders account. After many notifications they would not cooperate in shutting down the thiefs account. They said I would need the orders numbers! How would I have this information if I never placed the orders. What they did have is my credit card number, the amounts of the purchases and the date of purchase. So, they had more than enough information to track... read more

I 've been a customer Of Sam's Club for over 15 years. I recently had a problem with a problem with a generator that fail with less than 20 hours of use case # (SC138831) The company that make the generator told me they could not do nothing for me; I spoke to a customer servise rep and after she talk with her supervisor they decided to give me a 40% discount with a gift card ,on the unit that I will buy at the club reference # 220 203 017 048. Sam's and Walmart are two of the worst run businesses in america. Sam's renewed my membership automatically with my re-newed credit card. I called for to cancel membership and they couldn't refund my money on credit card. They wanted to give me walmart or sam's credit. Terrible!!
