It's been over a month and my windshield has not been properly replaced. I had a chip on my windshield and it eventually turned into a long crack in front of the passenger side. I called Safelite and they confirmed they can do the job and recalibrate my windshield on site. A technician arrived at my house and replaced with an aftermarket windshield but cannot recalibrate. He told me that I need to bring my car to the shop because he does not have the proper equipment to recalibrate onsite. I was a bit concern with the error ... read more

I had one of their technician come out to fix my window after he left I went out there to wipe my car down and my car wouldn't start. So I called him back and let him know what had happen. And he said when he left my car was working fine. That was it so he was basically saying F Y figure it out on your own. Left me with all my windows down, cause my car won't start. So I had to call AAA for somebody to come out and take a look at my car and figure out what was wrong. Come to find out he left something on while he was working... read more

One of the most miserable services experiences we've ever had. ***** forced us to take our car to Safelite instead of the dealer and actually told us we would be forced to pay more out of pocket if we went to the dealer instead. Safelite told us it would be a day. They had the car nearly two weeks. And then upon having us come and finally picking it up and paying, they forgot to calibrate the camera that supports safety features. Safelite misleaded me that they will come on schedule time. I cancelled my business appointment and kids doctors appointment because of this company. After multiple text which they also made money from it, no body showed up on time. Customer service was very rude. Safelife moved my schedule 5 days ahead without notifying me. I found out from the direct company assigned to do my windshield that they do not have my windshield in stock. Why made me pay? They took my money, time and misleaded us. Safelite replace my windshield with a new? windshield that was already chipped. I made the mistake of giving them a check before I noticed the damage. Now they want to turn it in as a warranty repair instead of promptly replacing the windshield with a new undamaged one. Stay tuned.

My insurance offered a repair of a chipped windshield by having safelite "fix" the glass. Since it was a small chip, I was willing to try. Tech came and put some epoxy in with a heat gun. less than a year later it fell out of the hole and is now a gob smeared on the glass. I called and got an automated message, seems they aren't staffing cs support during covid. Left a message with info, no call back 2 weeks later. Agent says we may need to refile claim. Scheduled to have my windshield replaced at my house. Technician came out and did not come with a Windshield and advised me I'd have to reschedule when I had set aside this time for the windshield replacement. He then advised that he would have someone call me and they didn't until a week later when I had already schedule one on my own. Today I found out more issues/hassles. Only gave them 1 star because I had to select something. Appointment was set and met quickly, but either the windshield they put in had a broken mount for rain sensor or the tech broke it. It has been a month since they put the windshield in but still have not replaced the broken part. I have spent no less than 12 hours on the phone trying to get an answer on what part they are waiting for and when it will come in, but no one at the 7 different phone numbers provided to me my Safelit themselves is able to answer me. Someone broke my window in September 2020, and ***********recommended Safelite. It is May 2021, and the issue is still not resolved. I had to visit the Safelite location near my home (a 30 minute drive) at least six times (maybe more?), and my window is still a mess.
