Not satisified with the "unfinished" work Safelite performed in replacing the windshield on our 2020 Ford F150. The work order included recalibration to enable the safety features of the vehicle once the windsheld was replaced. The technician Zach, replaced the windshield and told us recalibration is not necessary. We got an email from Safelite reminding us to be sure to do the recalibration to enable the safety features. Garbage company!!!!!! Do not warranty there products or workmanship
I am extremely displeased with the customer service provided after my windshield was replaced. I called them to report that my blinkers, brake lights, and horn stopped working. It took about a week of playing phone tag before I was told I should bring my car to a mechanic to determine the cause. My car was at the repair shop for 10 days; they checked the fuses ($50) and then performed an electrical diagnosis ($99). Waited 1.5 hrs for my scheduled appointment. I had to verify my own benefits. After thatong wait was told "Oh sorry, they forgot to put your windshield on the truck from the warehouse." Peoria ,AZ location. WASTE OF TIME. Went with Veterans Auto Glass instead.
Showed up for first appointment and did nothing claiming wrong glass but told his company it was a multi man job. Second appointment no show, no call. Cannot reach customer service PERSON on any phone number. Windshield break has traveled 30" since first call and is now obstructing view for safe driving. Crap company, crap customer service
I am very disappointed in the job on my windshield. The tech did not tell me that the chips would still be visible on the windshield when you drive the car. If I would have known that I would have had the windshield replaced. Nicki Borsuk
Safelite of Corpus Christi installed a new windshield in my Escalade. Because there's a camera in the windshield they said they would need to recalibrate it or my safety features wouldn't work properly. The first time I drove my car after the installation was complete, two alerts came up "Service Driver Assist Program" and "Cruise Control Unavailable." They are the worst. Scheduled windshield replacement more than a week ahead of time. Came exactly at 10 AM in the morning of the service. Left the car, spend $30 on uber home and obviously back to them. TWO hours later received the phone call from them telling me that the part is defective and they are not able to service my car today. This is RIDICULOUS!!! NEVER AGAIN I WILL USE THEIR SERVICES!!!!
This is a horrible company to associate with they came out to do a quarter-inch chip repair in my windshield and turned it into a 4-in crack because of negligence on the technicians. They gave me their BS loophole out of being responsible for making a mistake and now I have to pay almost $300 for a windshield because they screwed up mine.
