I scheduled my appointment for September 17th. I received a call that morning that the glass was damaged, but that they could come on September 18th to replace my windshield. I received an email on the 18th with the name of my technician and window of time of service. No one ever showed up and no phone call. I called on Sept 20th to find out what happened and the woman on the phone said that they didn't get the replacement glass in and she couldn't explain why no one called me on the 18th to say they weren't coming. What an awful company. What started out as a windshield replacement has turned into a nightmare. Windshield was replaced, but never sealed. Water leaked and started damaging things. Seal was put on. Seal was put on incorrectly causing more water damage. Drove to a safelite store on a Friday and they scheduled a water check for Monday. No one ever showed up. So I drove to the store again Monday and had them search for a leak. Manager said it was my AC condenser Which in fact was not, there were 2 leaks. Manager never came bac... read more

I had an appointment for September 9, 2021 at 1 pm at the ******* ** location and upon arrival i was told that the new windshield sent to replace my existing one came in damaged. I would have to make another appointment. I was leaving for ********** in the am on 9-10-2021 so i had wait until i was returning to make my appointment. I tried many times for Safelite to make this right, but they just cant get out of their own way and now I feel like I need to share this story (warning) with others.It was a very simple procedure. A rock went through the rear driver's side glass. Should have been an easy fix. Put a new piece of glass in. August 4: Appointment to fix the glass. Being glass experts, you would think this is easy. Instead, they DESTROY the molding around my window. Its hanging off the car and bent in numerous places. I try to call, but 18 months... read more

BEWARE. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. Both of our cars had chips in the windshield, and we tried to call to request a repair. They don't take appointments over the phone, so you are pushed to the website. We wanted to have them come out to our house to do the service (they're located about 30 minutes away) instead of bringing both in one at a time. Basically a scam. Set an appointment to have my window motor fixed provided all the info so they could have the parts ready. They showed up took the door apart and said sorry can't do it. Then charged me for the work and said to schedule another appointment and they would do the work for another few.

**** was out on 9/15 and was a rockstar. If you happen to get him as your technician, you're in great hands. He was quick, thorough and super friendly! He let me watch the process which was interesting to watch and explained what he was doing. Got done in less than an hour. I'll definitely call them again if I happen to have another windshield crack. (hoping I don't though). Great service. Definitely recommended!

Had a minor chip in my mirror, my insurance company set me up with Safelite. Safelite offers mobile services, so that was initially what I requested. I was told on 9/9 that the soonest that they could have someone to come out was the third or fourth week of October. Of course my intention was to be responsible and stop the spread using a "professional" company, so my insurance company set the appointment. VERY BAD CUSTOMER **********************. Tech arrived and needed "Parts" said he would come back and never did. Two days later, no "parts" and said that he MIGHT be able to do the job tomorrow. This is totally unsatisfactory if they do not have the resources to do the job - tell the customer. Don't leave us hanging. Be honest, if you can not do the job - that's ok we can look for alternatives.
