Gave me a quote then multiple days later told me it was going to be an extra thousand dollars because they had to use a certain parts for my vehicle. How could you not have told me that when I got the quote? You asked for my make, model, and year at the time of the quote.

They first called me for an aftermarket windshield replacement when I had requested Original on my Claim. They denied having received the memo until I had Geico on phone and then all of a sudden they started seeing the request for the original. So they didn't have it in stock and asked me to come again, why call me to the shop in first place.Then when I come back, I notice cabin light is not turning on. We had our windshield replaced on Saturday 4-23-2022 on our 2019 ****** Corolla. We have used safelite many times for glass repairs over the past few years with our other vehicals and was very satisfied, but this is bad work! The appointment was at 9:00am for drop off at the location (**** ***************. *******, ***** *****) The onsite manager was very courdesas receiving our car. This business did a poor job on replacing a back window on my vehicle which was vandalized the tech came out and replaced the window and didn't vacuum any. Of the remaining Glass they merchant gave me several different reasons on why the the glass was left there was also water damage to my car due to the rain the safelite says it up the shop to bring the unit in side to avoid water the wrap will not keep water from getting into the unit Right now my car is still not cleaned there are glass particles stuck in the carpet and. ... read more

Took our car and dropped it off at the *******, ** location. They never replaced our windshield after setting appointment. Girl at the front counter was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes as I was trying to get answers on why our windshield was not replaced. She told me they get to it when they get to it. That includes mobile and in shop. After getting home we saw where they messed with the windahield as the seal all around has been broken. The windshield wiper flew off and broke. I went into the Safelite Office in **********, ** to have a small chip fixed and was quoted $213.00. When I came to get my car I noticed a long streak in my windshield. I went back into the office to ask what happened and was told this could happen when trying to repair but I could apply what I've already paid to a whole new windshield. Also they didn't even fix the chip I paid for. I should have read the reviews of this place and saved myself time and money.

This is the worse glass company I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, my insurance company Allstate uses Safelite Auto Glass as a "third-party" vendor to handle and process all their glass claims. Then, the reimbursement process for your glass claim is a nightmare itself. None of the customer representatives are local. All calls are routed through ********, **, and then it can take up to several checks to get your check. The customer service ***** . . . I had scheduled two scheduled appointments, that the technician has not showed up! The first time I was given the excuse that the tech was in a wreck and the second time I was given the excuse that they could not reach me! A scheduled appointment is a scheduled appointment and when you give a business a second chance to make right on their wrong and the result is the same . . . . yup you guessed it you never use them and you spread the news to everyone you know not to use them!

A few years back I had a bad window. I called safelite, made an appointment, and waited all day. After a no show I called them and they informed me there was an issue getting the window and had to reschedule. So it was rescheduled a few weeks further out. Again I waited all day and they never showed. I called them again and got yet again the same excuse. Finally after over a month they came and installed the new window. After they left I looked at it and it looked like utter garbage. I decided s**** it I'll just live with it... read more
