Had an appointment to get my windshield replaced between 8 & 12. At 7:30 am I got a call saying he couldnt be there till late afternoon. I said ok then got a text saying the tech wouldnt be there till 2:50-3:20 pm. No one ever showed or called to say they couldnt make it. I tried calling and would just get put on hold then would get disconnected. Next day I finally got through & the woman was extremely rude and did not apologize for the no show or wasting my time. Safelite AutoGlass ( *******, **)- Around late march, I filed a claim to get a windshield replaced. Prior to adding coverage with my insurance. The outcome was that I pay out of pocket which is understandable. I scheduled an appointment to have a mobile change and have a Tech come out to install, he was great and realized it was the wrong windshield and had his shop order the correct one. Great! Why? We could select the day and time of our choice online and we did. ***** gave us amazing customer service. We did not have to repeat information that we had already inputted in their questionnaire. He was ready with clipboard with our paperwork in hand and we were greeted by ***** and gave him the keys in less than 5 minutes of our arrival. one of the worst customer service experience I've had. I reached out to my insurance to set up a new claim for windshield replacement. I was told that Safelite is their preferred company and that Safelite also does their billing. The claim rep set up the appointment early Friday morning last week for safelite to come out between ****pm and that all is set up. Took the rest of the day off on Friday. by 3pm, got a call from Safelite saying they don't have a technician available to come and had ask to reschedule either Monday o... read more

I had a scheduled service on March 4th for a windshield replacement. The windshield they brought was warped and cracked at the top. Technician installed this windshield anyway, due to my old windshield being cracked across. As he was servicing my vehicle, he stated that he would have to buy new moldings, since mine were old and broke as he was removing them. I had to have my windshield on my ****** Rav4 replaced due to a crack in it. The manager of Safelite informed me that he did not have a ****** windshield available, however the windshield he did have was the same as a ****** windshield minus the ****** decal. After the work was performed I discovered that the intermittent mode for the wipers was not functioning. After an employee attempted many methods to correct the problem, it was suggested that I take my car to my ****** dealer. Any cost to repair the wiper function would... read more

Removed my cracked windshield only to realize they didn't have a replacement for it. Reinstalled my windshield with a GIANT new crack all the way across the windshield. Didn't fully reattach my rearview mirror so it wobbles the whole time I drive. Would never recommend Safelite to anyone.

TURN THE **** AROUND AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!The situation I dealt is too long for me to put it into a review. Lets just say I would rather drive with no windshield than deal with Safelite as a company ever again. Even their cooperate office is a joke. Calling them ends up back with the local manager and district managers who don't give a c*** They don't answer their phone. Then when they do they tell you they will call you back and don't. We are experiencing hostile work environments at the **** in *********,**. Countless employees have quit or found better opportunities outside of safelite. The order selectors/glass pickers are working in extremely stressful conditions along with disconnection and aggression from upper level management. One supervisor in particular has been very rude and aggressive to newer employees as the older employees see this behavior. I myself have found other work because of these problems. Please send help!!!
