None of their phone numbers work and you cannot get a hold of a person!August 18: Would be nice if I could get a human instead of being offered a text with a link and then hung up on. For years we've spoken about how well Safelite has handled many situation, until 2 weeks ago. we attempted to have our windshield replaced by our local safelite. Once at the location we found out that they ordered the wrong glass. They told it could take up to 2 weeks or more to get the glass. We didn't like how our local safelite handled this so we opted to switch locations. I scheduled a windshield replacement twice in one week with this business. Both times I was sent away as defects were found with the replacement glass. Following the first appointment I was assured that a thorough inspection would take place prior to my rescheduled appointment to confirm there would not be a repeat negative event. The employee was adamant (cocky almost) that he checks every piece of glass each morning himself. I spent 20 + minutes trying to find a way to leave a review for Safelite through their own website and even the service emails and texts sent for my service but found they have not made it possible. This should be a red flag in itself. My windshield was cracked from road debris and I immediately called my insurance who is contracted with Safelite. I intended to have a full replacement but I was guided to repair since the damage was "smaller than a $1 ****." The technician was scheduled between 8-1 to come to the school where... read more

My insurance company recommended this company. I called them and they came out to look at windshield. After examining the windshield told me I needed to replace it. The agent continued to order a replacement and rescheduled an appointment a week out. The day before it was to be installed they called and cancelled it because they didnt have the windshield. Its already been 10 days and they cannot reschedule me until another week out. I cancelled with this company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The lack of communication and professionalism on the business's end was deplorable. I had an appointment scheduled two weeks ahead of time on August 6th, which was rescheduled without my consent. Fast forward to the day of my newly scheduled appointment on August 16th, I was given the time frame of 8 am-12 pm to have a technician by the name of ******* arrive at my home. Terrible customer service. No interest or intent on fixing their own problems. After only one year the gaskets for windshield pillars deteriorated and fell out. I was told by them that it is due to ******* sun. I was then told it was caused by sub standard parts from ***** In any case they had no intention to repair it. It is highly disappointing that this company does not stand behind their work or the products they use and install on customers vehicles. Try to make an appointment online. It's a joke. When you cant and they tell you they will call back they don't. Don't waste your time with this company.
