This is the worst security company I've ever had. I've tried to cancel this service for two years and each time they drag the process out so it becomes too late to cancel for the next year. Their contract rolls over annually so you're stuck with them forever. My next move is to report them to the attorney general of Missouri. I would give them zero stars if I could. A+ rating?? Seriously?? 397 complaints. Would love to know the rating process for ***. What an enigma

I signed a 42 month contract with pinnacle security than three years after safe security bought them out that was 5 yrs ago became disable last year call 3 weeks ago said they would call back in 24 hrs no call sent e mail 3 wks later the called 2 days after said I had to pay$384.75 to close the account I never sign any cotract with safe security really sad when your diabled and all they want is their money

I have been duped by these people as they seem to prey on those moving or those who are older. I have left two messages to cancel my service as it's quite expensive and unnecessary, with no return phone calls.

Two men from Safe Security approached my porch stating that they had installed a previous alarm system in my home. I have lived here for 3 years and had installed ADT when I first moved into the house. They insisted on wanting to change the ADT system over. After much back and forth of them asking many questions about the our current system and that we were not interested, they finally left.

It's funny that this company has an A+ rating on this website, however has nearly 400 complaints. My elderly grandmother (91) has had service with this company for a few years. For well over a year we've been trying to contact this company about addressing a broken system. After no avail we decided to end service. We talked to customer service rep who said we must submit a letter with account number and signature requesting a termination of services and an immediate stop to the automatic withdrawals. I had service with SAFE Security Monitoring for over twenty-three years when in September of 2016, I sent them a letter saying I would no longer need their services as of my current six months end date of 12/31/16. I had no response from them and assumed they would cancel my service. After multiple phone calls asking them to please cancel, they kept sending me bills. I had safe since 2004, and I was renting a condo in Citrus Heights, Ca 95621. They kept raising and raising their fees and sur charges every year. At one point, I did not even use my service, and this was for about 7 or 8 years. Yet, I still continued to make the payment. The final straw was in 2013, when I contacted them by phone and wished to end my serviice, and I explained to the person on the phone. We had a Safe Security account; we sold our house in September 2017 and called to cancel service in August 2017. Were told we needed to "opt out" of our contract and pay over $300 which we did along with a copy of the contract with "CANCEL" written across it. The bills continued to come in. Called again in October 2017, were told we had to submit cancellation in writing. Did that the same day. Received another bill in November. My mother had to move to assisted living. They told her she had to move the service with her. The assisted living home already had their own security. These crooks said tough you signed a contract. We do not care and kept drafting her account. She could not close her account because that would mess up her Social Security payments. It is so sad week companies have to steal money from the elderly to make money.
