I mailed certified mail telling the company that we are terminating the contract in January of 2017. We kept getting bills. Every time I call the company, they say they know about it and tells me that they will notify the billing department. Now I got another bill saying they will report me to credit bureau if we don't pay up. We don't owe them anything. We started our new monitoring in January, but we paid them up to March which is over-payment.
This is the worse company anyone could ever imagine! They do not monitor! Their equipment doesn't work and now I'm being double billed! I turning them over to our attorney generals office tomorrow!
I originally had a contract with Pinnacle Security which was either merged or purchased by SAFE Security. After my contract ended with Pinnacle Security and I contacted SAFE Security to cancel our services, they indicated my husband and I had signed a new contract. I requested a copy of the contract, and when I received the contract, the signature didn't match my husband's signature. The companies allowed sales practices are deceptive and fit the profile of "Slammer" techniques. Can not recommend this security company. I have submitted a request for cancellation. Time will tell if this company will provide redemption for themselves a honor my cancellation request for a new customer in Texas.
I signed a three year contract with Pinnacle Security in January 2010. Pinnacle was subsequently acquired by Safe Security. In May 2015 I was contacted by Safe Security and informed that a "chip" needed to be replaced in the control panel. I payed a $25 service fee and signed paperwork for the service. In July 2017 I started getting an error in the alarm control panel. I called Safe Security about the problem and I was told a technician would call within 24 to 48 hours to schedule service. A little over a year ago service needed to be done in my home because the security system was not working correctly. At that time they made the necessary repairs and updated a few things in the system... and then I was given a paper to sign. I was NOT told that the paper I was signing was for an additional three year contract. We had already had the system for at least 6 1/2 to 7 years. Customer Beware! I'm fully aware most people only come on here when they have a negative experience but this is just ridiculous. First off within a few months of signing up we began to have issues with equipment that they installed giving false triggers. They wanted to charge me 100 bucks to come out to diagnose plus whatever replacement parts would cost! Sales person was very deceitful in not identifying they were a new company. They represented themselves as being with the company I was with and were making modifications to the current system. DO NOT USE THEM! Worst Company ever and I have had several alarm companies over the last 20 year. BAD BUSINESS ETHIC!!!!!!!!!! I would give them negative stars if that were an option.
Very negative experience with their system and service. First of all, I have not signed with this company in 2015, my account was transferred there from Alliance security in 2016. Had nothing but problems, which I believe they are causing on purpose so they can charge $50 trip charge for their technician. At this very moment, my alarm still doesn't work, but I cannot cancel since they holding me to a contract I haven't even signed with them.
