Safe Security is a company I would not recommend to anyone. My father is 86 with dementia and first phase of Alzheimer and in his confusion he signed up with a new security company and never canceled his service with SAFE. I learned of this after his contract had auto renewed. The new security company understood the situation and canceled his contract without question. SAFE the company my dad had used for YEARS sent him to a collection agency while emailing me saying they were looking into it. Stay away from this company.
If possible, I would give negative stars. I just purchased a house(5/12/2017) and the previous owner had Safe Security services. Last night 5/24/2017 I was doing some drywall repair and the alarm went off. No big deal, I went to go hit disarm and a representative came on the intercom. I explained the situation and she proceeded to to tell me if I do not no the security code then I must be a burglar(Fair enough, I would do the same). I never wrote reviews, but we bought a new house in Nov. 2016 and immediately sent a cancellation letter. Yet they kept billing us for the next 5 months claiming that they had never received a letter. According to them our contract that we signed had an automatic renewal policy. When we asked for the signed contract they magically found the letter and wiped the entire account. These people are worse than Comcast. Never had such a bad customer service experience.
The representative and techs were great and they were the only group willing to use my existing hardware and not try to upsell me thousands in parts like other companies i had talked to. Moved my system to full on cellular with an awesome touchscreen keypad and phone app service for less than I was already paying. I did have to change to automatic billing but have gotten email statements before the draft so I can manage. So far I have been very pleased with how it all has worked out.

Poor customer service. We were a customer for Safe Security since 1993. On 7/26/2016 I called Safe to upgrade to a video monitoring system after suffering an armed entry. I was put on hold. I was then told that I would receive a call back with 24 hours. 48 hour later I called Safe again. I was told a local contractor would contact me. Two weeks latter a Safe local contractor called me. STAY AWAY!!! This is a scam operation. They said they were switching us from outdated Analogue service to digital service and the whole thing was a lie. They didn't even install a chip oh any sort in the existing system we had. All they did was change the codes so that it went to a different monitoring system. These people are deceitful door to door salesmen.
They "slammed me" and I cancelled my contract with them within 3 business days via letters, email and fax in March. They proceeded to send me a bill via email and I called them asking why. They had no clue as to why I received one and they couldn't find my name in their system. I didn't believe them and I couldn't get this resolved by any person that I spoke to. From the begging i was not happy. The sales rep was deceiving and i never received what was agreed to or promised by the sales rep. i would not recommend them!!!!!
