DO NOT USE!! I was moving and was told to send a letter to cancel. I did this in February plus paid what I was told was my final payment. In middle of February I received an invoice for the remainder of the payment and I called to tell them I was told a different amount over the phone. Absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Every single representative that I have spoken to has a different story or "solution". We had our system installed in 2015, it maybe has worked for three months total. Reported an issue and a service ticket was requested in September of 2015. An absolute scam. Do not sign up for their services. Sold security system door-to-door by telling us our current security had been bought out. All paperwork was split between three different companies pointing to three separate websites and two different phone numbers in multiple states. Installer admitted they didn't have a license to do business in our state. Cancelled within the 3-day period and after 60 days received an invoice for two-months payment.
Twelve years ago, we installed a security system that was monitored by another company. This company was taken over by SAFE Security in 2011 and we were informed of the change by mail. In January of 2017, we decided to cancel our monitoring system due to our budget constraints. We contacted (via phone and email) the company multiple times for two months to cancel the service. SAFE security has terrible service. I had to call them several different times when I needed someone to come out and look at my security system. When I called, they said they would have a technician call me to schedule a time to come out, and THREE WEEKS later I got the call from the technician. When the technician finally came to my house, he said he didn't have what he needed to fix the problem, and that he would have to call me to schedule another time to come out and fix the problem...he never called. I had fallen behind on my payments due to confusions with payment methods. During a call with a Safe Security account representative in which I brought my account current, I asked for a status on my security system from the past 6 months. I was notified that my system had been inactive or in error for at least the 120 days I was past due. I have had my alarm system for approx 14 year. My previous monitoring was with ****** **** ******** and they were great. That company was taken over a few years back by Safe Security and I can honestly say I have nothing great to say about them. Quite a few months back I got a random knock and a gentleman on my porch saying he was there to upgrade my security system. Safe Security purchased our account from Pinnacle Security with several months remaining on the service contract. Consequently, we were in the process of closing our business and no longer needed the alarm service. We notified Safe Security of the need to stop service and closed the account, however, we willilingly agreed to pay for the remaining few months on the contract. On 12/19/16, I contacted Safe Security to pay my bill and also inquire about the "Door Bell" camera system that they offer. I spoke to a supervisor and she explained to me, after taking my payment, that she would submit my paperwork for the system and she would send me the necessary email to agree to a 3 year contract. I didn't here from her nor did I receive the email so I called back on several occasions during the week.
