I have been with Safe Security for over 6 years and now I moved homes and tried to cancel my service, which we found out there was an auto renewal clause in the contract. We have 7 months left and they are trying to force us to pay the remaining balance, even though they provided none of the original equipment for my home. All they have ever done was provide service, so there would be no loss on their part, and I just keep getting poor service when I call in. We had a system in place for my elderly mother, where she would wear and alarm necklace in case she fell and could alert the alarm company. A couple of years into the plan she was visited by a salesman who claimed Safe Security had bought her company and she should sign a new contract with them. My mother has mild dementia and did not question this. She signed the contract. Now she has been billed by both companies. I am trying to cancel Safe Security. I have called 5 times. SAFE Security do not deserve a star one, They are the most terrible company I have ever dealt with. Called them in Feb 2019, some one came out and changed the battery and left, but before they got out of the driveway the system on the door did not work, failed again. Called several times after that and was informed they knew of the problem and someone would be out but never showed up, so I stopped payment and closed the account from coming out of my bank. Terrible company. I had issues with my equipment and they wouldn't help me to get it replaced yet billed me for the service - $400 in services I didn't receive so didnt pay for hoping to resolve with SAFE secuirty - then they sent debt to collections.

I was told that I was signing up for 2 years now they are trying to say it’s a 5 years. Not only that it is in my husbands name but I signed it in my name. A lawyer told me that that is not legal unless I have power of attorney. (Which I don’t). My husband has written them a letter.

Safe security gained my business by claiming that my current security system was being overtaken and could no longer operate in the area. I found out this was a lie. NOW, I have sold my home and reside in a location with a pre-existing security system. The new home owners refused to keep the system. On more than one occasion I tried to cancel my contract in its "initial term" of 60 months. I was either going to pay the remaining amount of $1,513.87 or have my credit damaged for collections. I have tried to cancel service and in writing and they refuse to quit charging my card. Might have to seek the advice of a attorney.

We were DECEIVED into obtaining Safe Security!!! A guy showed up and told my husband he was there to update our Alarm System (we have ***). He then changed out everything had my husband sign something and left. Meanwhile *** kept calling and when I called them back a week later we found out we had been SCAMED! So I called Safe Security and they apologized and said they would handle our Cancellation Fee charged by ***! Since July of 2018 I have been trying to get one of our cameras back to working, it doesn't word to a damaged cable that is lying on the top of the ground during the installation. Our salesman stated that he would attempt to help, but he had gotten transferred and wasn't sure if he could. I continued to try and get assistance from Safe Security, but never received returned emails from the customer service center or any phone calls back to help resolve situation.
