The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. Their burgers are very underrated. I think it's the best compare to other chain diner. Shakes are amazing! Everything in the menu are reasonably price with a million dollar view! Although, service at times could be better, been going here since the early 1990's service have never been below average.
Great food. Most of all great company. Malt was super good.

Waitress forgot our appetizer and also my drink and didn't do anything besides say - oh - I forgot to ring that in... but - it's a burger place .... the food we did get was good and my mother visits from England once a year and loves the milkshakes there so, there you go!
Amazing food and ice cold beer! Old fashion atmosphere with a great view.
I took my own of town family here for breakfast this Sunday. I have been here several times before and have never had a complaint. But this weekend was a whole other story. Our waitress was very rude, not a good morning how are you NOTHING.. she then completely forgot to bring my meal. But because she not once checked on us to see how we were doing, did she notice. The hickory burger is on point, service was great, and the scenery is awesome. We'll be coming back for sure
