The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. We love Ruby's! We go to Ruby's for most every occasion you can think of. The one on Huntington Beach Pier is the best place to go, as it is very large inside and not to outrageous, as far as the wait to get in. Their food is great and the staff are pleasent! Thanks Ruby's for making our experience once again, awesome!

Great view especially upstairs! Great weather especially when its hot inland. Great Rubys prices. Bit of a wait.
We had a couple burgers and a couple beers our server was friendly and on spot with service. we had to wait 35 minutes on a Friday just before noon but that is to be expected. We will return !
We were seated quickly and recieved great service.

We love going to Ruby's on Huntington Beach pier. We had Mike as a server this time and he got every order right as usual. We eat there often, but this time there was seven of us. Mike did a great job. Food and shakes were delicious.
Great atmosphere and view! Burgers and shakes were delicious. A little pricey but worth it.
Really nice people and good food great place to see the ocean.
