A Great Cruise to Ensenada I did the Monarch of the Seas to Ensenada for the weekend. You get on the boat in San Pedro on Friday afternoon and get off on Monday morning. It's a great weekend getaway with few hassles. It's a nicely remodeled ship; the food & service are good and the casino was fun. Check out the blow-hole area outside of town in Ensenada. The arts & crafts are more authentic, the bars are fun and the blow-hole is a fun sight.
Monarch of the Sea to Ensenada, Mexico Decent Ship, Nice bars and Lounges. Food was disappointing though. It was the same food being served whether you were at the main dining room or the buffet. The food reminded me of Home Town Buffet....which I only ate at once and made sure I never went back again. The alcholic drinks onboard were still pretty expensive. 2 Heinekins and two shots of tequila came to $30.00...crazie !
Nice options to check a cruise out Not one of the best but a nice company, this is a good option to try to go with a family. You can go on the Disney cruise that is wonderful and a kid dream come true, or you can simply go for a weekend to Mexico, you board in Los Angeles, and try for just two days how your family likes it. Food is ok but kids are busy with the activities and is relaxing overall.
nice for a crusie line My kids really like cruising because they get to be 'on their own' for much of the trip. As far as crusiing this is one of the nicer lines. the room are clean, the food is good and the entertainment is actually good. My husband frequents the casino and the kids really love the pools and activities!
I am just trying to get my beverage package and spa service cost refunded. Ever time I call a different person tells me my refund is coming. I just talked to someone a few days ago and my total refund should be $1346.38. So now my account is showing this is the balance that I OWE on my cruise. My cruise was paid for. I only changed the dates from August 6th to October 29th. We already purchased the beverage package for the new date. Me and my fiancee had planned and put a deposit down to cruise on our honeymoon on August 1st but decided on canceling. I am also a frontline worker which makes it difficult. The person who set our reservations did not disclose we would not be able to get our money back. This company is forcing people to get these so called credit for next cruise but I know for sure we will not be cruising anytime soon. All we want is our money back to put towards our wedding. Like many others, we are anxiously awaiting our refund. RC canceled our cruise in March which was scheduled for Alaska in late June. We were offered a refund or a future credit. On March 29th, we elected to get a refund. They said we would have it within 30 days. No go. On Wednesday, May 6th we received an e-mail that stated "disbursement will occur by the end of this week." Due to information issued by the government, I cancelled my cruise thru a travel agent on Mar 9, 2020. This was due to open heart surgery on Dec 17, 2019 and carotid surgery in Jan 2020 and artery surgery in Feb 2020. Cancelled cruise due to underlying health problems due to the major operations, to include kidney and high blood problems. Even with DEC, don't see any safe future cruises.
