Awful experience. Charged 3 times what other place charged. Ruined our walk way ( which was thrown into pit. Backfilled over pipes with no stone so entire jog they did was worthless. Had to redo whole project. Talked to local manager and he could care less.

On July 2nd my basement flooded. Due to Roto Rooter being a well-known company we decided to utilize their services. Roto Rooter set an appointment for the 7th. The plumber was the first person they dispatched. He informed us that a clogged sewer line was to blame for the flooding in our basement. Then he informed us that it would cost $755 to clear the line and $1950 to to replace the pump. Overcharged, RIP-OFF, Theft I don't recommend Roto-Rotter Plumming, in fact I warn you to stay away from them. I had a leaking pipe in my house basement which was easily accessible. After a half done inspection, they informed me that I had to replace the main shut off water valve and the water pressure reducing valve. They charged me $2,500.00 for less than 5ft x 3/4" PEX pipe/tubing , 3/4" main water shut off valve , 3/4" water pressure reducing valve and a minimal amount of hand digging through soft mud. A little over a year ago I called roto rooter after a sewer line backed up into the basement. They came out to snake the drain and found that ************ had collapsed and gave me a price of $8900 to fix the problem, which consisted **** hammering the floor up and part of the drive way and replacing line. I just had the sewer line back up again in the basement. The tech took a pic of the massive tree root ball in the line. Now how can that happen a little over a year later after they supposedly fixed the line?

I had terrible service today out in Medford. Someone came out to look at the problem and it was a pipe issue. There was flooding so that would have to be cleaned up too. Before your man left, he charged us **** dollars. Someone comes later on and cleans out the basement without fixing the problem. Here I am stuck with no water all day because no one fixed it. Roto Rooter Charged me $330/hr for a technician job for faucet change. The charge rate is higher than that an engineer or an attorney charges, and here Roto Rooter is charging me $330 an hour. I tried negotiating the price with them, and they hung up on me the very next day when I got the job done. They have one year warranty on the job, and they dare to keep the phone down on the customer because it was a billing issue.

Dont use this company. I wanted to have my sewer pipes cleaned. They said no problem as they can use either the septic system or go Thur the toilets. They arrived 2 1/2 hours late they dug up for access to septic to say they couldnt use it for access. To use the toilets said it would cost $700 to remove and when they came I told them my son would take them off. All of a sudden that became something they didnt offer and told me there is nothing they can do to clean out the pipes. Then they charged me $350 for digging out then... read more

On Sunday July 23 my husband and I came home to a clogged septic line thanks to our children. My husband located the clog under the house by going into the crawlspace and unscrewing something on the septic pipe. He then used a snake but couldn't loosen the clog. So we called roto-rooter and the technician came out and ran his device from the septic tank to the house. We told him that the clog was under the house and that our system takes a 90 degree turn. My plumbing service for my dishwasher repair was great! They got straight to work and tested it to make sure it worked properly before they left. Would definitely recommend!
