Purchased a Ranger on June 28; 250 miles later (August 10) the check engine light came on and the day before the screen froze. I expected some bugs with the new Ranger. Everyone advised not to get the recalled vehicle. However, Richmond Ford West’s response was “we can look at it in 11 days.” So, 11 days is the amount of time customers need to expect to be without transportation. Go elsewhere for better deals and service that you can count on. I am lucky, my previous dealership can fix it Monday!

I would be careful about buying a used car from Richmond Ford. My 17 year-old son saved his money and purchased a 2013 Ford Escape from Richmond Ford West (@RVAFordWest). In 17 months and approximately 9K miles it has been on the back of a tow truck SIX times! It appears before we bought it they performed an engine exchange and we were not informed of this when we bought the car. I would have never purchased a car that had an engine replaced. Totally can not go wrong going here to get your next car! Four years ago I purchased a Fusion here and went back for all my service visits. Last month I traded in my Fusion for the Escape. Another great experience. The staff there is wonderful - everyone in service, the finance manager (who even remembered my name today), the sales staff, and Joey! I was so impressed! I purchased a used 2010 Ford Edge after being in a bad car accident and my vehicle was totaled. I brought my “New” (to me) Edge in to the dealer due to two recalls to get corrected/fixed.
