After a harrowing ordeal with a nationwide car lot, my friend came across a 2020 model (compared to the 2018 at the horrible first lot) for the same price she was prepared to pay for the older model. We showed up on a Monday around 1:30 in the evening, no appointment, no calling ahead. I broke down in Richmond with my Wife's Ford, so we sent our car here. After quoting us $1000, they claimed they "misquoted" us when we said that doesn't add up. Then after finishing with our car, it broke down when we got it back with the exact same issues. When we called them to tell them this manager said "they stand by their service." They don't care about the customer. You are better off going to your local garage that treat people like humans and not paychecks.

Bad service experience. Don’t go here! You’re better off going to a local car shop. They first told me they didn’t have an available appointment for a week (although they did work my car in faster which I appreciate). Then, they quoted me over $1,000 for a new starter but when I mentioned how crazy that was, they said they “mis-quoted me” and it’s was actually $600. After the fix, I found out they used a remanufactured part but didn’t actually tell me this up front. Lastly, my car broke down with the SAME issues after they “... read more

Service advisor doesn’t keep you up to date on whats going on with your vehicle! Multiple calls and emails! Sales rep was amazing! Service department is terrible! My first brand new car ever and i wish i had kept my 2010 honda civic i bought used! 4 months i had my 2020 and its been back to Ford multiple times!

I bought a 2020 Escape Hybrid, everyone at the dealership treated me with respect. I can not say enough about Rodney S. Mike R. and Marino G. all three were the cream of the crop! They all worked hard in getting me a great deal for my Escape. I believe they will go the extra mile for anyone that enters this dealership . I am now a forever client of Richmond Ford West.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Fusion in Feb.2019 and just before my one year came up, there was a recall for a part to keep oil from leaking into the engine. They said they caught it in time but a few weeks later the check engine came on and that was the issue. It was bad and they replaced with a new small engine block. A few weeks later the light came on yet again, this time a spark plug was jammed in somewhere. Fixed it. now 2 months later the check engine light is on yet again from what we believe was the original issue. I have... read more
