This is the poorest customer service ever! I spent hours on hold waiting to talk to someone. Only to be told the same company spiel over and over again with no effort to do anything. They did give a show of effort when I said I wanted to file a complaint. I was told I would be called by the complaint department only to receive an email two days later using the same company line. You should never use this company. They tell you one hotel and price and then book you at an inferior one and won't let you cancel. Bait and switch. .
Had problems with a hotel reservation so we called and cancelled the reservation and even contacted the Hotel to ensure that there were not going to be any penalties and we were assured that we would have our money refunded . It never happened so we called back and got the run-around so it’s a good thing I took a screenshot of the conversation because they forgot about that conversation. So now they told us in 48 hours we would be refunded the entire amount and still nothing. I don’t believe they intend on returning my money... read more
Typical online company - makes a transaction and cleans it's hands of all responsibility. I put in a request for a cancellation through priceline.com. I received not reply. When I contacted priceline, they said it wasn't their responsibility, contact the other company. Great business model, collect the bucks and leave the problems to everyone else. The customer gets the short end of the stick.
The customer service would not compensate for falsely advertising a room or amenities which guided our hotel selection.
I cannot believe reading the complaints that PRICELINE is still in business!! Priceline should be SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY!! Normally, I like Priceline, but today, I experienced a very shady bait-and-switch practice that is worth sharing. Simply out Priceline advertises a price for a car rental, but at checkout, the price is over 25% higher. They attempt to explain that it has to do with constant fluctuations with partners and demand, but both the advertised and checkout prices remain static. What a scam!
their web side are misleading: rate 2 star hotel as 3 star. one time, they charged/booked two rooms when i only booked one and refuse to refund their mistake.
Wow. I am absolutely appalled at the way Priceline handled my issue. After a 10 hour flight from Finland, and missing a plane, I just wanted a hotel room. I didn't change my timezone after landing, which was an honest mistake, and ending up booking a hotel through Priceline for the day after I actually needed it. So I called Priceline and asked them to change the reservation to the same night literally 3 minutes after booking it and realizing the mistake. You know what the excuse was?
