Priceline gave me a quote of $234 for a hotel room. My daughter who lives in the area said the price sounded high. I called the hotel directly and they quoted me $138 for the same room. When I called Priceline the told me my speacial price was for a non canceling room! The hotel would allow cancellations 24hrs in advance. If it was possible to give a negative star I would. This was the first time I use Priceline and my last. Lowest price? Try the highest price. A horrible company that has no future in my opinion.

My mom and I made a duplicate reservation on Priceline and we "technically" did not have to be refunded either. Basic principles of fairness were in our favor and Priceline agreed, refunding the money. I had more success dialing the customer service hotline at ****************** than I did with the online chat. Overall satisfactory result, when I was expecting the opposite. MDW

Poor customer service. Not willing to accommodate a cancellation. Chat agents copy and pastes responses in from their vague cancellation policies. Unaccommodating with any changes and very misleading. 'F' for poor customer service and incompetent group of people for what should be a simple service. Will never use their services again.

I will never use Priceline again. I rented a car for a certain time, I was flying to ****** **** and was then to pick up the car there, Things came up and I did not fly or use the car rental. I canceled the car rental with Priceline ten or more days ahead of time. They refused to cancel and charged my credit card almost $300 for a rental I did not even use. VERY FRUSTRATED! I have been using Priceline for many years to book hotels, flights, and cars...up to this point we have had very little issues. I recently attempted to book 2 round trip flights (1 connection, all separate one-way tickets, essentially 8 one-way tickets) and before the confirmation screen there was an error that read, "Reservation not booked...could not confirm flight details". I refreshed the screen, waited approx 30min and tried to book the flight again and ended up with the same error. Since I still needed... read more

I have entered 2 separate account numbers from my bank only to have them tell me they are invalid and hit me with a late fee. Twice they have done this once in Oct 11,2018 and then recently March 29,2019. Now I think I am pretty smart to know that if I am using the accounts to pay bills and the service providers are receiving their payments on a timely basis, then what is the issue with Priceline. I am a seasoned business traveler. 300K+ last year. I recently booked a trip on priceline. Then I decided i needed to fly to my destination from another airport. So I booked a different flight. I called priceline to assist me in cancelling the flight because I was fearful of a glitch. They told me I had to do it online. I did, checking 3 times before cancelling. Do not use Priceline for anything! They are a scam. Much better options out there, with much better customer service.

Up until my most recent hotel booking, Priceline was very good at finding a great deal for our travel accommodation. Today I automatically went to Priceline and made another booking. Then, as a 'check', I went to the actual hotel website and found the price to be $12.72 less and included a hot breakfast (for 2 persons, 1 room, 2 nights). After reading their "Best Price" policy, it seemed the booking qualified for a price refund of the difference. The first contact was by phone.
