I booked a hotel, ******* ****** ********* ********* ****, Jul 21 - Jul 24, 2019 and I must say this is the worse ******* hotel and worse Priceline service I have yet to experience. Priceline uses bait and switch practices and follows that up with lies. I know as I have been a victim. The website will show a hotel room at one price but switch the customer to another company (getaroom.com) that adds additional fees that nearly double the cost of the room. When you try to cancel you are told the hotel has a no cancellation policy. When you call the hotel directly you find that this is not the case. When you try to speak to a manager you find that they will not allow it. It is a scam.
Just had Priceline take from a 44 dollars from my account 2 months after a car rental. They didn't notify me in advance they just debit my account. When i called them they just said they had a system error with my reservation and they are now charging me. They have horrible customer service. I will never use their services again!
I booked a trip through Priceline in January and have had multiple changes on the trip. My trip is now in 2 days and I still do not have flights confirmed for 3 out of 6 of my flights. Priceline has been grossly negligible and incompetent in handling my travel. I have had to call them around 20 times in the last 3 weeks to confirm my flights. Terrible! False advertising! Booked ocean front hotel room but when I went to check in the room was a NO VIEW room! Beware! Clearly stated online it was ocean front but they confirmed a no view room with the hotel! I WILL NEVER use Priceline again!
Deceptive and misleading. I booked an Express Deal on Priceline for a *** **** ******I was shown a picture of a map on the Priceline Express Deal page indicating "Hint: Your hotel will be one of these three." They use that practices and a lot of legal jargon. I called in because their email said I prepaid them but the hotel was still trying to collect payment at the desk. Call the customer service line and was given the most legalese explanation I have ever heard. When asked to simplify the answer so that I could understand the rep just repeated the exact same thing she started prior. I've been a Priceline customer for years, mostly for domestic travel. Their customer service is horrible, long wait times and a lot of bouncing around to have issues addressed. I recently booked international travel for myself and my daughter and there was a discrepancy about my daughter's date of birth in the booking.
