Booked a trip through Priceline.com to ***** ******Island to eventually get to ***** ****** ***. Unfortunately Dorian hit the islands hard in September and now we are unable to make our trip due to the place we are staying is inhabitable. After attempting numerous calls to Priceline about situation, because they don’t see anything online or on their emails about this hurricane and that the flights are still going, they can’t refund our tickets. Priceline is openly gouging people by trying to charge thousands of dollars more than the stated price on their site for flights if you try and change flights or use a credit from a previous flight. Avoid them at all costs. What happened: I purchased a non-refundable flight through Priceline in April 2019. I then called to cancel the flight. They said that although it was nonrefundable, I'd still be able to use a portion of the cancelled flight's original price as a credit towards my next flight purchase, minus a $200 flight... read more

I was searching for a car rental, I came across ******* and Priceline. ******* was cheaper but Priceline had a price guarantee and in the past didn't require payment up front, where ******* did. Before booking either of them, I called Priceline customer service (which was very difficult to get beyond the automated system) and spoke with an operator. Priceline sold a Comfort + ticket for *****airlines. Confirmed they did indeed sell the ticket, however when seating assignments were made one leg of the trip did not include Comfort +. *****confirmed a seat was available. Apparently Priceline purchased a main cabin seat to improve their margin on the flight. Subsequently customer service refused to rectify the error. ***** * in ******* *****3rd floor was horrific. The carpet was past filthy the bathroom floor by the tub was falling through the floor and when I turned the heat on the smoke detectors went off. I could only use the AC set at 69 degrees. If the rooms and hotels are this bad stop renting them.

they're absolutely wasting my time, spend hours trying to change the return flight for two days in a row and nothing is being done. customer service department blame it rate department and unwilling to do anything about it. If one department can't call another department when a customer called to complaint that raise a serious question about the structuring of this company. Got a deal on a weekend car rental in ********* ** for $119 with Priceline for an **** car. Showed up at the **** counter at the ******** airport and the contract said $186, which I failed to notice. When I returned the car (almost 6 hours earlier than the contract time) I was charged $172. At the airport I looked up the original email and saw the quoted rate. I booked something online through price line about a day or so ago. I had something come up so my work trip canceled so I tried to cancel my booking, they weren’t flexible they weren’t willing to refund anything. When you checking out it says if you book now you save $6 A day and nothing about not being able to cancel. They trap you into booking it immediately and then steal your money. Never work with this company!
