Priceline has very unethical business practices. We booked a hotel and paid the daily advertised Priceline rate $861, plus $303 in taxes/fees for a total of $1,164.. Upon arrival at hotel, we were told that the taxes/fee had not been paid in full by Priceline, and we would be billed $120 by the hotel. According to hotel, we were only charged $982. Priceline indicated that they had paid the hotel in full. After much back and forth, Priceline advised me to pay the $120, and call them on Monday for a refund of the $120. Now, 3 ... read more

If i could leave 0 stars i would. I was supposed to receive a refund for the hotel that I didn’t stay at (it was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen), I should’ve done more research but the hotel approved my refund but magically priceline has a secret partner that won’t approve the refund. It’s ridiculous they expect me to just give up my $80 without a fight. So I Disputed with my bank in hopes to just reverse the payment or something. But the way priceline handled it, it’s ridiculous. I booked a hotel through Priceline and the place was not as described. There was no continental breakfast which was the main selling point and was advertised on Priceline. There was no restaurant only bar which was not family-friendly. I brought this to Priceline's attention and was told that was “a matter of opinion”. But the fact that the place was packed with drunk patrons that were loud and swearing, clearly not suitable for children. We booked 2 nights for OYO Townhouse OKC on priceline.com about a week before our trip. We even called the hotel before we left to confirm our reservation. We drove 6 hours and showed up before midnight, only to be turned away because they had no rooms due to over booking. So we were stranded at night with no place to stay. Called priceline to receive a refund and had to wait on hold for 25 minutes to be able to do so. They made it very difficult. Horrible, bait and switch room. Not what I booked. Customer service no help. $44,000.00 in authorizations!! 12 of us going to Maui, Priceline ruined it for me. Sorry Maui, $ 50,000.00 we all will spend somewhere else. And not thru PRICELINE!!

Rented a car 2 weeks ago from Priceline.com. Got an itinerary from priceline.com yesterday confirming my reservation. Went to pick up the car today, and they were out! According to Priceline.com (on a chat I have had with 2 agents, one on Facebook, and the other on their website), "We have no control over whether or not the rental car company has any cars. Made reservations on the deal of the day. Purchased the ticket which said it was a non stop flight to ***** *called them when I saw i was stopping in *******with my 8 year old daughter so i really wasn't too happy with that. Called Price line they said they will get back to me in 2 days. Got back to me and i couldn't cancel or change the ticket at all. They left me roomless on Labor day weekend! Admitted it was their error then failed to make it right by putting me in a nicer room that was available. Kept me on hold for three hours while they said they would relocate me. In the end they left me on my own and refunded my money. Completely ruined my vacation!

Priceline deceives customers when booking “Express Deals”. I selected a 2 1/2 star hotel in Waco with 80% rating or higher. After paying for the room, I get notified my reservation is with a hotel with a 63% rating. Customer service refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing.
