I was told they would give me a refund for my flight which got canceled due to no fault of my own. They never issued a refund, and after trying to contact them for a month, was offered a credit. I accepted because I didn’t want the money to be completely lost. Liars...they are blaming the car rental company for not being able to refund my money. I called the car rental company and they are fine with a refund, but it needs to come from Priceline. Priceline gave me a credit voucher to use within one year. After 20 calls back and forth between the two companies, I will NEVER book through Priceline again. Can't believe during the COVID19 circumstances they would treat people like this....SHAME ON THEM!!!!
I would give zero stars if possible. Airlines are offering full refunds but if you booked through Priceline they are holding funds and refusing refunds. Priceline not doing the right thing during a pandemic when many people are out of work and everyone is on restrictions
I booked a trip in December that was nonrefundable, non changeable, and non transferable. However due to COVID the event that I was attending has been postponed. Priceline has refused to consider giving me a refund, credit, or even working with me on other options. They told me via email that the hotel refused to give me an exception. On March 13th, I realized that due to Covid 19, I needed to cancel my trip to Maui on April 3-10th. I called Priceline to cancel the car rental I made in January and they said to call *******to cancel.I called *******and *******cancelled my Reservation. I BOOKED A ROOM THROUGH PRICELINE THAT MISADVERTISED THE STAR RATING ON THE HOTEL. THE HOTEL WAS FILTHY. WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT PRICELINE, THEY SENT ME TO ***********. THEY REFUSE TO HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT STAY DUE TO THE CONDITIONS. THERE WAS MOLD, DIRTY FURNITURE, BATHTUB WAS GROSS. I booked a flight with Priceline for April 21. Because of the coronavirus, I am not willing to risk flying as I am 73. I tried to cancel. Cancelled my trip due to the Coronavirus. My airline cancelled my flight no problem. Priceline refused to cancel my car rental. Was escalated to a Manager named Paige and she said she could not cancel my car rental due to an agreement they had with the car rental company, in this case *****. This is unacceptable.
I was charged by Priceline as well as the hotel Priceline booked through. It took over an hour of talking on the phone for me to get credited back by the hotel and then I was told I don't deserve anything for the inconvenience of having to wait 2 weeks for the $350 the hotel charged (on top of the $250 that Priceline charged). I asked to escalate my call to a supervisor and was told point blank that I deserve nothing for my inconvenience.
