Booked a car and hotel 5 days ago. Was exposed to to Covid19 and needed to cancel my reservations. Although in large print on the confirmation it says "Cancel your hotel" - "Cancel your rental car" below each reservation, when you try to click on the cancel button you are told they are non-cancellable. My connecting flight to my final destination was cancelled without my knowledge or prior notice and no alternative options were given. My only option that the airline gave me was to pay to change my flights and end at a destinations that was 2.5 hours away from my original destination. Priceline is a total rip-off. We were charged almost $100 above the cost of our hotel room in booking fees. They don’t disclose that clearly when you make a reservation. We will always call the hotel direct from now on.
Situation: I need a hotel tonight near the ******** ** Airport. I ******it. I start to book which happens to be through Priceline. I select my room, enter my card info, press book reservation and then I am alerted that the reservation is no longer available to book. Does this not sound as though my reservation was never made? Haven’t been able to receive a refund for three months and customer service is abysmal.
Like I told your representative, I clicked the link in my itinerary that went straight to your site. I then clicked the link to cancel the reservation. I don't blame the hotel, I blame Priceline. It had nothing to do with the hotel. I did what I had to do to cancel my reservation. I went back in my history and found the time I went back to your site to cancel the reservation. I recently booked ****** through them at ****** Limited. My room that I paid for didn't exist ******Limited had no rooms available. When I called Priceline customer service the girl and supervisor both admitted that they knew there were no rooms available, that i should be glad i even got a refund. They still took payment and made me wait almost a week for a refund so that means Wyndham Hotels accepted payment knowing that they didn't have a room, and Priceline was in on the scam by listing it is available. Tried to rebook a trip I have a credit for that was cancelled due to COVID. I tried to rebook today an got hung up on by two different agents. First one didn’t speak clear English an spoke to quick an was irritated when I asked him to repeat what he said. The second agent was just cocky an rude. Kept trying to talk an wouldn’t let me speak. SCAMMY In my case, the hotel was waiting for the manager to come back and approve my refund as she had been in quarantine for 2 weeks, priceline denied my refund even though I got the hotel in a three way call explicitly saying they cannot make a decision YET. How can a final decision be made if there is an 'unknown' in the equation?
