I made a reservation at 5 pm we got to the hotel (choice hotel) FYI, just as bad! Anyway when we arrived i was told since i made my reservation with a third party company (price line) i had to pay an additional 150.00 a night plus my second night rate. Priceline and Dollar have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! On Jan 17th-2021 I booked car for a girls trip! When We arrived at the shady hotel ( wasnt expecting this) and finally found the small corner desk with a tiny sign after asking people where it was ( they were travel event people)! This company should not be in business. We booked a flight and had to cancel due to Covid. They sent us a credit without a change fee. When rebooking I confirmed the price of the flight on their website and new I would have to pay a little more, which was not problem. When I went to use the credit for rebooking the flight price all of a sudden went way up - not what they were advertising. Asked to speak with a supervisor and they said there was not one. Horrible customer service.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. We booked a hotel and they cancelled with no reason less than 24 hours before the trip. Too late to make changes to the rest of the itinerary. When calling the customer service they were not helpful and wait times of over 45 minutes three separate times and the issue is still not resolved. Double charged our one reservations for two nights in a hotel and claimed it as two. Customer service said that we had intentionally done that and had no policy in place to remedy the situation with canceling one of them or a credit for future trips. Was a gold star member. Will be forced to never use their service again based on principles. Hopefully others will see they have no commitment to customers during a pandemic or during normal times as well.
Let me start by saying that I will never use Priceline again from this moment forward. We had booked a vacation for ********* ******for the week after ice storms of 2/14-2/20/21. Due to electric and frozen pipes at vacation rental we cancelled our trip. We had full refunds of House, Airfare, Airport Parking, BUT NOT Priceline Car RENTAL! After multiple calls and speaking with supervisor refunding our money wan not an option! Doesn’t ask you to log in before you place the reservation. I put an email under billing which I assumed was just for a receipt. No best price guaranteed now. Now rentals for that week are 100 dollars cheaper and no one will send me anything except a 5% coupon for future use. What a scam.
Went to book a hotel. When Priceline shows the original price it was $205 through ****** for the dates selected, cheaper than other websites. When it transfers you to the website to book surprise the price has gone up to $230+ per night. Ok no big deal as that's the going rate for this hotel anyways.
